OG GM is, of course, missing half the point and yelling about wheels of irrelevant TTRPG topics and it's all make believe. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hp7VlmR-e7iNb9E

@@TheOGGMsAdventures the whole willow thing is largely irrelevant. It provided Harmony a center piece for her discussion, but TBE and the BroSR were banging on about "no prep" months before that popped up again. The willow post popped because of the prep discussion, it didn't generate it.

@@drivinganddragons1818 wow good to know i guess i was not paying attention to topics frim months ago. Probably to bussy yelling in the wind my irelivent arguments I really appreciate how much time you spend watching my videos and the energy you invest in comments on them but gosh maybe its just me being childish but i would appreciate that you included a link to my page when ever you talk about my stuff. I always give links to the stuff im talking about even if its some one i disagree with so i dont think its wrong to ask the same

If course my idea that you need as much prep as you need for you there is no right way is probably something you think is wrong

Prep consists of pulling up donjon online and generating a tiny dungeon, then modifying monsters on the fly for the guys to pound on and get pounded by. The End.
@drivinganddragons1818Ай бұрын
@@TheCastleKeeper for a random gen dungeon crawl, sure, though the have still goes better if you have all your stats and abilities organized and as much random generation done in advance as possible

I don't know about the hard sci-fi needed to literally invent a plausable theory for FTL or whatever. Dilithium crystals are fine.
@drivinganddragons1818Ай бұрын
@@corley-ai depends on how hard it needs to be. Yes, Dilithum Crystals are fine, but that's just an energy source that allows for the creation of a warp bubble which is an existing theoretical FTL travel method. Hard Sci-fi relies on defined rules and plausibly science, therefore at least a basic understanding of how everything works is required. In a game, you also have to maintain internal consistency as well. If you want to run a hard sci-fi adventure, you better be prepared for the nerd of your group to exploit real science in your adventure.
