Damon did save Elena and he took her with him for the company but to also piss Stefan off but I don't think Elena would have been so quick to forgive Stefan from holding the truth back again (after he said I'm going to tell you everything) if she hadn't went with Damon. Damon always gets her to have fun it's one of my favorite things about him Elena can always cut loose with him and he loves having fun.

I absolutely love this episode, if not for the way that Grams is portrayed in this episode. Grams is one of my favourite TVD characters! I love, Jenny, that you have the power in this group, cause you know things -- foresight is a powerful thing 🙃😂 "Did he run away cause he heard Damon coming?" I think so! I remember when I watched this for the first time, I don't think I got that myself! This is why it's good to always rewatch things 🙃(Is what I tell myself as I rewatch things 🙃) I love Erin's excitement at 3:11. I love moments in series in general where someone makes a guess about something, or hopes for something, and then it's given more attention in the future like in that scene! Thank you again for allowing us to watch it early on Patreon on by the way, due to the issues -- I enjoyed watching it as usual! But I would have waited! "You have a good day now." I love that for Stefan it's just Damon being a jerk -- and it is funny to watch -- but Elena is FULLY in control of her actions here, and I appreciate that the show gives her this space in that episode, cause it's not unrealistic for her to need some time to process! When Gram says to Bonnie that she's blocking her own magic, I felt that! I've had experiences where I've wanted to do something, and I've been my own roadblock to actually doing it! I love that Gram is there to ground her, and guide her! I love JD's "FUCK SAKE MAN!" at the end 🙃😂 I feel like that's been Season 1 in a nutshell THUS FAR 😂

The only question I have still unanswered from s1 is related to something that happened to Tyler in season 3 and was never answered I think, but I also I don't want to spoil anything so I'll keep it to myself.

A not spoiler that has a wink in it, is that episodes like this really aggitate my opinion on Stefan's ridiculous ability regarding saving people from drowning! Like that moment should be touching, but it's sad that her parents both were dead when he went back.. that is just admittedly bad problem-solving. Which I think that adds to other people's frustrations about Stef and how sometimes he could be such an old man yet at the same time it seems like his brain truly never matured out of being 17.

I know that Matt and Elena were a thing for nearly 15 years but I don't think they ever intimate as far as sex I think Elena was a virgin before she slept with Stefan

@@DigiCount I don't think she was talking about sex tho more like each other's first as far as like a couple and you'd be surprised how many couples have been together a long time and still aren't physically intimate. But that's just my take on it
