this is one of the delena moments that i like the most .. a curiosity about the kiss scene: the music of the scene was loud because the kiss was real this was confirmed by julie pilec herself, nina ends up saying ian's name in the middle of kiss then they put the loud music to disguise this "little mistake" (in my opinion the real kiss of the actors was perfect for the scene, the chemistry was incredible)

I remember being so excited and happy about this episode it was insane how I reacted lol the Delena kisses are just the best filled with raw passion and emotions. Then later on in the episode our Delena moment always gets ruined or put on hold yet again, with Elena saying she doesnt know if she has feelings for him again etc. I love how Damon held his ground and said hes not gonna make it easy for her by being destructive or sabotaging things. They just had a little argument then left it at that. Roses words about Delena to Jeremy were beautiful too, love how they both change one another and keep growing. Damon really is the best thing for Elena. I think Elena's problem with the whole shes confused and doesnt know her exact feelings for Damon, does have some truth to it. Elena gets confused about her feelings for Damon because they're so intense, consuming and different to her feelings for Stefan. Elena may assume it cant be love because it's not same as loving Stefan, yet shes still got intense feelings for him and definitely knows it's not feelings of friendship. Elena is 18, hasn't been in love before Stefan plus she has to add the fact that the other guys shes feeling things for is her exs older brother.

I think everyone knows the feeling of hiding something for so long and then the freedom of releasing it, of ignoring that voice in your head telling you not to do it and just not caring, of letting go of all your worries and constraints and indulging in one beautiful moment. In that moment it's the best feeling of freedom and euphoria...until after where the regret or guilt or whatever sets in ughh i feel like that's why a lot of people love this kiss scene, and it's usually similar scenarios in other shows i've seen that also tend to be fan favourite kisses. It's because many people can either relate to that feeling of finally letting go and following your desires (not just romantically btw) , or are longing for it. That's what makes this scene so special as it reminds audiences of that feeling. Plus of course the indescribable chemistry helps bring the scene a lot more to life.

Stefan is romanticism, he is prince charming, with him you live a fairytale relationship, beautiful dream moments, he is the guy who is capable of gestures of pure romanticism, he brings you flowers, creates a beautiful atmosphere, opens the car door for you , he respects you, he woos you like a true gentleman but the problem is when you wake up from this fairytale and you realize that it was a fairytale too perfect to be true. Damon is passion, is the fire or it can be water to put out that fire, the relationship with him is a mixture of emotions, it's true, he shows himself for what he really is with his flaws and his merits, he intrigues you, he is imperfect and this is why he is real and when you wake up you have no surprises because he has never told you a story but always the reality of what is of what he can offer you. I loved Lexi and I am very open to her friendship with Stefan but Rose is out of her mind how much wisdom in her speech to Jeremy she explained very well the difference between Stelena and Delena. Both beautiful in their own way with big differences, I was at the beginning Stelena precisely because I was more of a girl and I loved the blue principles but Delena episode by episode made me crazy in their complicity and imperfection because guys real relationships are fabulous? no absolutely not, the reality of couples is very different but it is love when one overcomes differences and problems. A crazy episode to make you straighten your skins, chills, the kiss between Elena and Damon amazing how much passion, desire as if it were not tomorrow despite Elena's umpteenth gesture to take a step forward with Damon and you can two, three steps back remains the fact that they were wonderful. Stelena makes you dream, but Delena makes you crazy.

But that's wrong Stefans not perfect I think people undermined the amount of hard ship stelena went through and yes Stefan would be the better choice for elena, I think people confuse being imperfect with being toxic from the amount of pain he put her through its unrealistic that this couple would have even happened, Yes I do think in time they did love each other, but I don't think they were good for each other and I don't think the relationship was good for themselves either but in the end I respect your opinion.

You are so right! And that love with Stefan is what Elena needed at first, when she was in a dark period in her life still grieving the death of her parents and trying to live again. But that only lasts so long obviously and I personally think that when Elena is with Damon she sort of returns to how she was before the car accident. And Damon and her are more compatible in that way. Although I do feel for stefan because he really loved Elena but when he was with her I feel like he withheld all the bad parts of himself and that’s what made it seem like a fairytale sort of romance. Just my opinion

Honestly and with all due respect I am bored that you see Delena or Damon toxic and I believe that many do not know exactly what a toxic relationship means and I also believe that today there is an exaggerated conception of seeing toxicity even for the slightest argument in a couple or between two people perhaps for this reason also the exaggerated number of divorces, we no longer struggle to stay together but obviously it is a question to be explored to make my concept understood. Being imperfect doesn't make you toxic and I believe Damon's imperfection makes him intriguing and interesting non-toxic. Most of us are always looking for perfection and especially we women in a man often fall in love with what we know at first for you can be disappointed when we live with that person and that's what's happening with Stelena, the beauty of Delena that you are. known for what they are and are in the process of accepting one another with defects and merits, in each of their discussions, wounds, words they have learned something they are growing together so it is not toxicity but two that are discovering each other for better or for worse obviously they are more exaggerated than normal because they are supernatural.

Stelena had arguing but with Damon and Elena was constant what made it so toxic was was that a 25 year old what's making moves on a 17 year old his brother's girlfriend, what was toxic was that he had no respect for her family or her relationship's, what made it toxic was that he legit killed her brother, what made it toxic was that he was so forceful with her and didn't let her make her own decisions. I think what happened was that she changed herself to accept the bad parts of Damon.

We all love this episode and I'm sure most of us rewind and pause to further enjoy this moment... Well, this plus 4x7, 4x4, most of season 4 actually, although I love the Delena moments in season 3 as well. Season 5 is eh, season 6 is great, and I'm sure we all hate season 7 and most of 8... that's all I will say. lol it was 5am when I saw this the first time bc I couldn't walk away, even though I had class at 9 the next day. I squealed and clapped so loudly bc I hoped my ship was about to come to fruition... not yet! I’ve said it a lot already that you’re one of my fave reactors when it comes to tvd cause you’re objective and you try to understand everyone❤️but what you said about care and tyler’s scene was really illogical. So caroline accepting gifts when she has a boyfriend is wrong to you but elena kissing other man while in a ‘still official’ (cause they haven’t broken up) relationship is right and we should be happy about it?😄 You don’t have to defend someone’s actions just because you like them together. You can like them and be objective about their relationship both at the same time.
