I just played the game for 12hrs day 1 I'm having a blast lol. I love how thinking about it its a completely different meta because it's only to set 5 with promos we didn't get until set 6 and the 2 new boss cards can't wait to pull them and start theory crafting how to use them best lol.

Hey i'am new to cardfight vanguard, i remember to play the physical card with my older brother but until now i still had no idead what am i doing and the only reason a play it because the card have a very interesting artwork. So, i want to play this game and try to create a deck. Do you have any tips for what i need to have to make a deck in this game?

@@renhardhalim so for all the decks the two most essential cards to acquire are the effect PG's and Overtriggers. If you chose a start deck from the 5 base nations you want to pull set 1 to get those, and if you chose the Lyrical TD you will want to pull from Lyrical Set 1. For the easiest meta deck to build in the game I would argue G4 Kairi as Kairi only needs the PG and Overtrigger from set 1 before moving on to set 2 and because there are 5 different kinds of each for Lyrical it is a lot faster to pull than for the other 5 nations. Then from there build whatever deck catches your eyes.

Dear Days has been a lot of fun. I don't have the funds to play vanguard physical or any group or shop that even supports vanguard nearby, so an actual official online sim has been a great blessing. So being able to actually play the game has been great, but of course the price is dumb ($88! For me). But hopefully the DLC will go on sale... Cause don't really pay that much again.

This is what has me considering getting the game despite the high price. I work and go to school full time, so I don’t always have time to go to my local card shop. Add the cost of cards, sleeves, travel, etc. The Switch game keeps everything all in one little cart.

haven't actually played overdress since it came out cause lockdown so this game is my first experience. Played the demo and oh my god the start deck is so good and fun, the fact that I can consistently reach 40k+ with Vairina without any trigger and only using start deck is insane. Gonna buy the game at the end of the month

Rando thing to mention regarding my Vanguard beginning (since the stream the video's made from has the question for it), but I wound up starting the game from Zero, getting massively interested through the actual anime and the V-series card game, though my first steps into the actual card game were from getting all of the starting decks for the overDress Standard (long before set 5 was a thing, but I don't really know much else, on the front of when). That all being said...yeah, I'm happy to see this game be a thing, and to enjoy the first localised Cardfight Vanguard game in the history of the world.

To answer your question, I played OTT and Palemoon, I don't know the sets or anything. I just loved Tsukiyomi and that's as much as I remember. I wound up just collecting the cards more than playing because yugioh was more of the main thing. I got this because I do want to play, but I don't understand the game much anymore...or rather its like completely different? I was hoping Tsukiyomi was in this game, but looking at the "ride deck" it makes her whole gimmick not even a thing so...yeah. lucky for me you took the same starter deck I did but I have no idea what I'm doing so watching you play helps a lot

There are very few Angel Feather like cards. Prescription Angel and Asepsis Angel are 2 cards that have AF-like effects but there's no Angel Feather play style yet in overdress. Just Angel Feather aesthetic cards.

Idk, to me no matter how good the game is, $70 plus needing to get DLC when it comes out is just too high for something like this. If it was like $30 or $40 I may put it on a Christmas list, but since I'll need the DLC when it comes out and it's not a good sim for deck testing due to being behind, I still wouldn't even buy it for myself for the lower price. Depends for me it’s worth it considering playing the physical game is around the same price. I don’t have any friends who play card games but if you have friends who play vanguard in real life then just stick with tcg. Let’s be honest the story not going to be top tier and people will be using it to play pvp

Hopefully there will be enough story or pve content to justify the absurd price. Look at master duel, completely free to play and easy to build decks and its doing great in terms of playerbase
