Not the boot for me but I love watching your videos and always learn a little something new in all of them. Keep up the great work 👍

I have 3 versions of this boot between 2015 and today. I have the 2024 version most recently. I use remind insoles, and this is a solid boot. Nothing special about it besides it works and it doesn’t wear out too fast. I experience some heel lift in certain scenarios but 90% of the time this boot is comfortable and predictable. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a budget friendly boot.

I got a pair last season. They work for me just fine on laid back days.

Say what u want about the og but I fucking love them!! So soft and surfy! 34 years of charging and I still like my soft boots and not just for the park but all mountian. I am not dropping huge lines or anything like that at my age but put me in the trees or give me a solid 10’ drop and I am all over it. You can layout sweet ass methods or poke the living shit out of your indys!!Keep making them vans you have og fans👊

I feel like these would pair well with my Union Contact Pros for riding powder.

If you do another Vans review like the invado pro hint hint it would be great to see a size comparison to different brand. I would like to see how much larger vans are.

Look at snowboarprofiles. They measure outside lenght of boots

What insoles do you recommend to buy? Looking to get some to dampen the ride… all mntn freestyle, small park.

The ones that for your foot and needs. I’m partial to Remind but Dfp, superfeet, and shred soles are all good ones to look at.

I was so excited to try these boots but the instep was way too low for me. Stuck with thirty two. Its a problem I have with some brands though.

Soft boots have removed 10 years of my boarding life. Young and ignorant hitting big jumps on shit like this during years...total regret when you are over 40

Eh you have to remember what technology was like back then as well as how parks were built. That's more or less what did us in, these boots today even on the softest spectrum have more ankle support than anything we grew up with.

Yep. Started riding in ‘91 and my first pair of boots were Airwalks. I don’t remember the model but they might as well have been Sorels. Next pair I got in ‘92 were Vans. They were linerless and just a pussy hair better than the Airwalks but looked way cooler with my baseless Preston bindings and Sims ATV snowboard.

I got the hi-standard linerless, super comfy from the get go. Perfect for my feet and the maybe 10 days I'll get on mountain in a season. I love the garbage pale kids poster!

If you have flatfeet, these shoes, even with orthopedic insoles, will be hell for your feet.
