I like to imagine Poseidon sitting on the beach of Ithaca, waiting while watching the waves for the first sign of Odysseus. Sitting and staring at the shore. Ten years of waiting for Odysseus, knowing the clever king would eventually make it back home, tapping his foot impatiently every few months and causing the Earth to shake beneath him. While waiting he just murmurs about ruthlessness and rehearses his speech that he’ll give to Odysseus.

@@AddisonWolstenholme yep! I just picture the mental image of him getting irritated and unintentionally causing low magnitude earthquakes. Just staring at the sea for ten years straight, as if the second he looks away Odysseus will make it home right under his nose. The king escaped him once and Poseidon is just too prideful to risk missing Odysseus again. That’s why he wasn’t around during God Games, he’s just been waiting in Ithaca.

As hard as Polites, Eury, and Ody's mom hit when they came in at the end of Get In The Water- it will hit you so much harder when you see what was happening and 600 Strike goes so flipp'n hard! this saga is by far the most confusing without visuals, hopefully you understand now, but basically, he stabbed poseidon with his own trident and he opened the bag that hermes gave him at the beginning of 600 strike

Yeah, that's one thing that I had a slight issue with for this saga. Without the visuals, lots of people miss what's happening. Usually, Jorge's really good at letting the music do the story telling so we can know what's happening without needing to see it (but the songs aren't bad and I'm not saying that Jorge didn't do well on this album before anyone might jump down my throat about it).

I wasnt into 600 strike right after release, but i think its growing on me i like that everyone kinda sees it in a different way (I see a big ass storm golem empowered by the 600 souls with ody in the middle)

Don't worry about being embarrassed I probably would've been the same way if I were in your shoes 😂 Yeah if you watch the livestream (would LOVE to see your reaction!), you will find out what happened, but if you want to know now, the cover art gives it away... Odysseus hurt Poseidon with the only thing he could probably hurt him with - the trident, Poseidon's own weapon. Which is truly astounding since it is considered VERY disrespectful in Greek mythology to hurt the gods with their own weapons. I still recommend watching either way whether you record a reaction or not because it is an EXPERIENCE with the visuals. I was absolutely gagged the first time I saw it

I find it funny how no one seems to understand Ody is the villain to Poseidon. ody not only used a horse(trojan horse) to break into the city that heavily worshiped him but took his son's only eye and left him alive. to then pray and ask his father to right this wrong. Poseidon in his own eye's is the wronged party seeking to right what ody has done. that's why he can't just walk away ( he is not innocent but neither of them in this event are. ) still support ody though.

did you know that the cover arts aarnt just pieces of art but aare usually about the boss of the saga? so what would a bloodied trident mean? with ody stabing possi with oh IDK a TRIDENT that may or may not be covered in blood[like in the thumbnail/background of literally this entire saga]? but yeah the "livestream" would've helped alot but also your eyes should've helped in the first place so hmhm

Something I just found out about with Get In The Water, when Poseidon says, “I’ll take your son and gouge his eyes” that is a reference to what Odysseus did to Polyphemus 🫠
