The reason I did an AHOE video instead of remaking an AFOE, as I said in my community post, is because I feel the idea of “Poland’s revenge” would make far more sense in this timeframe than in the present day-near future, after Germany has already apologized for its atrocities. 02/06/20 EDIT: Heh... looks like this could become a series after all.

That’s exactly how I intended the scene to be... plus it provides a far more sensible reason for Nova Polonia to seek revenge (compared to AFOE).

And here’s the kicker: the leader of the uprising will survive, but loses everything in the massacre, including his friends and family. So in addition to the Soviet betrayal, Polonia’s motivation is personal.

Honestly, I admire the poles bravery, but what the hell did they think? (In real history now). The Warsaw uprising was far beyond pure stupidity, it was suicide. Sorry if I offended anyone with this comment... Same goes for us in 1956, same for Czechoslovakia in 1968... We little countries, especially in the middle of Europe... We. Stand. No. Chance.

As a Pole I can say it was stupid idea, but it was desperation act. We had known we would've got swallowed by Soviets if we didn't do anything, westerners would've never got in time to liberate us, so uprising was the only option. Personally I believe making some smaller uprisings in few places to cover bigger chunk of land and one City for Capital to establish new Polish State would've saved at least western part of Poland. Probably Iron Curtain would've been on Vistula River in this scenario I've brought.

@@Bastard2137 Eh... Soviets loathed you a lot more, than the germans. Germany 'betrayed' the USSR, but Poland humiliated it back in 1920. Soviets stopped advancing to 'help' the germans crack down the revolt. Soviets would've stopped even if there had been more revolts. Or... they would've just ended the rebellion themselves, pushing back the germans and maybe even encircling some german divisions.
