It’s finally finished. I could say, I was just as excited to show off the ending of this story as you probably were to see it. Even if it still isn’t as long as episode 7, I’m still quite proud of this episode. I sure am glad my school year hasn’t started yet... I hope you enjoyed this! *Massive spoilers below! Be warned!* Some notes/clarifications for reference: - Something to note is that at the outbreak of WW3, Nova Polonia was the 2nd-strongest power militarily (though not superpower-level). Its military was bolstered by conscripts and stolen Soviet equipment (such as T-62s, several hundred nukes, etc.). - I’ll admit, the scene with Siberia convincing Komi to join them was the scene I am least proud of. :/ - The targeted cities outside Europe were Novosibirsk, Vladivostok, Irkutsk, Washington D.C., New York City, Ottawa, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Cape Town, Canberra, and Kitakyushu (yes, those countries were in the war, too). - *The nukes never got launched!* Hungary shot and killed Polonia before he could actually launch the nukes. Everyone’s still alive. - I got the design of the rose off of Google somewhere... - Yes, the ending with Polonia (his name’s Marcin Nowak) and his parents was based on Rui reuniting with his parents in Demon Slayer (even the same music is used). - For all intents and purposes, the story ends here. As you may tell, The Vengeful Phoenix is all about the tragedy of Nova Polonia, and with his death, the series has been concluded. The epilogue will show the post-war treaty and a glimpse of the aftermath, but ultimately, it’s going to be a short add-on.

Yes, they did. The significance was that Polonia’s family, who would have otherwise gone to heaven, chose to accompany him to hell, out of pure familial love (Again, like in Demon Slayer).

Yeah, and a sister. I wanted to get the episode done by that point, so I just had his parents there (plus, I was basing this off of a certain scene in Demon Slayer). He’d reunite with his siblings, eventually. “Now come on, your brothers and little sister are waiting for us!”

That Glitchtale music tho I really enjoyed this series, and it was cool to see a different take on Nova Polonia compared to AFOE. I also commend you on giving a villain depth without having them be redeemed (which I was somewhat worried about, especially considering how Conti’s finale turned out). But you did a good job with it, and with the ending scene you even got the best of both worlds. Kudos to you on another great series Protonic!

Thanks, Korean! And yeah, Polonia was never going to redeem himself or apologize like France did. Even after he reunites with his family, he still doesn’t regret doing all that he did to Germany, Russia, France, etc... He just acknowledged that in the end, all that “revenge” was pointless. What he was sorry for was not being able to protect his family.

Okay, I'll be honest... That was the most emotional episode, I've ever saw in my life. Today we all learned from this video... Revenge is not a solution. In these days, all that matters is love and forgiveness. Everyone deserves a chance, and everyone will have a support to reach our beautiful dreams. No matter what we all will do. Steal, bully, kill or slaughter... Everyone deserves forgiveness no matter what. Fantastic Job, Comrade Protonic.

This was fucking amazing, Protonic. You're one of the few edgey mappers who still are active in mapping, and you're also just an amazing mapper overall, and this finale really shows that. The scene with France, America, and Algeria was probably my favorite part. Also thicc Polonia is yes. The ending with Polonia reuniting with his parents was rlly good ngl, also that moment when Polonia targeted major cities around the world was so cool. I have nothing but praise for this finale.

The whole ending is really touching, full of forgiveness and love, even Marcin Nowak can find the final answer from Vengence. Another masterpiece series after Fatherland. P.S. Switzerland, Spain, China, and some others are grabbing popcorns when Polonia nearly nuke every Allies.

This finale is very breathtaking ! Revenge is not worth it and even if the past is horrible we all have the option to let our past define us or not. Even if Marcin was evil what’s really surprising is his family loved him no matter what. Even if he’s a genocidal maniac his family still stayed with him. Hopefully we’ll get the epilogue. If Polonia won would the leader try to preserve whatever new empire Polonia made or would he just let it collapse after he most likely kills himself after the war? Also what’s the name of the ruling party of Polonia? And did the military generals plan for the death of Polonia’s leader or if he went too far or if he just become a burden on Poland and it’s people?

1. Nope, he wouldn’t really try that much, and he’d just kill himself at some point after the war. 2. I never really thought about the name of Polonia’s ruling party, so you could make your own interpretations. 3. Not really. The military generals would most likely form a provisional government after Nowak’s suicide, though Nova Polonia likely wouldn’t last long at its post-WW3 size (they would have annexed Archangelsk and Nenetsia, divided up France, the UK, Siberia, and Italy into puppet states, and simply occupied the rest). In the end, Polonia’s instability and exhaustion would be its downfall, even if it won.

1. The flag of Warsaw. 2. The nukes were a last resort, plus it was meant to show the last of Polonia’s sanity slipping away.

Polonia got their hands on a considerable portion of the USSR’s arsenal. As they were defeated, the nukes were transported to Warsaw.

Once Britain and France were killed in his (hypothetical) victory, he’d basically have no purpose in life anymore. Revenge was the only thing driving him by this point, and if he actually completed it, there would be nothing left for him besides his grief and guilt.
