Venture Brothers is probably that one in a million extremely rare show that went on and never lost quality because sooner or later every good show goes to shit you can't keep a good act going forever but Venture Brothers found a way somehow they beat the odds that usually kills every other show

I think it's mainly due to the fact that the story is constantly moving forward. Characters are always doing something, the plot of the series is always almost always progressing in one way or another. Even if there are episodes that don't directly progress the plot, the characters still grow and change from those episodes and new concepts are introduced. It's hard for a series like that to become stale because nothing has time to become stale.

His own failures are brought on by his own inadequacies and flaws which is a far more fitting end than anything else. Yes, it does evoke pity but it is definitely not deserving of the riches Jonas Jr. brought him. I like to see him redeem himself through his own effort and keep his new found wealth, but knowing how this show is... I highly doubt he'll get either a redemption or a happy ending.

I just fell face first into this show, talking about 2 months ago. It’s already the only cartoon to ever rival SP which has been #1 forever.... but this show. There is something special here. These guys check every box there is for what you can want from entertainment. They have the balls to age their characters . *Don't know why you'd watch this without having seen the episode in the first place but, anyway, spoilery fan-theory business coming through:* Anyone else with me on my theory that Dr Killinger is Force Majeur? He knew about the Sovereign's plan, and did nothing to stop him from getting rid of the "expendable" Councilmembers. The plan was clearly already in motion, as The Investors (Caecius, Skiron, and Lips; super pumped they have (ahem, had) names) took care of Monstroso (since he knew too much) and the Clue Clown (RIP, Boggles) back toward the very end of season 5. Then the Sovereign took out all but Phage and Dr Mrs The Monarch, despite his best efforts (or "destiny" as I'm sure Killinger would call it). Killinger clearly has a vested interest in keeping the Guild alive and reforming the Council of Thirteen with himself in a leadership role; the new Sovereign. His brothers, the Investors, seemingly ran the Guild with or without "Bowie"'s consent. So they all seem perfectly familiar with the way it's run. And furthermore, Killinger (and the Investors, but only them) knew where Meteor Majeur, Force Majeur's old personal hideout, was. tl;dr The whole plan was started by the Sovereign and The Investors to destroy the Guild. Killinger knew about it; but, rather than stopping the plan, played it perfectly (in that way he always does) to build a brand new Guild from scratch and reclaim his former title. After all, the now (probably) dead Sovereign said that Force Majeur died, and that's how he was named Sovereign; but clearly normal means can't kill whatever those four are* anyway (inexplicable lightsabers notwithstanding). *I got curious and looked up the origins of The Investors names. They're named after the "Anemoi" from Greek myhology. Four gods or godlike beings that represent the four cardinal directions of wind. They're good guys. But there are four evil, demonic Anemoi as well that represent the four secondary directions, three of which are the names of The Investors. The fourth, which I don't recall offhand, is what I'm assuming is Dr Kilinger's "real" name (despite Caecius still calling him "Killinger" to his face). Or I'm just rambling, sleep-deprived, and have way too much time to think about a cartoon I get way too hyped about. Super rad episode regardless.

I was thinking crossroad demons for the longest with the investors now i'm not sure but i don't think killinger will lead the guild i think his plan is still far from being complete or maybe the ORB is going to come back as well i highly doubt they are done with that story line

I'm going to assume everyone in here watched it so I don't think the spoiler tags are needed. So many things I want to say. 1. Shame that Treister comes back only to die shortly after. But his cancer wasn't fixable so better to go out a hero like that. The hulk part was hilarious as well. 2. So did the entire complex burn down just because The Monarch lit the lawn on fire? Seems kind of anti-climactic to have the entire compound destroyed by a small incident like that considering all it's been through since the show's inception. 3. Star Wars Killinger battle was awesome. Although again, seems kind of anti-climactic that the Investors, who were made to seem so invincible, could be killed with light sabres. 4. Amber and Brock love affair confirmed. Does this mean Brock and Mol are truly done, or do they still have feelings for one another? Hoping to see more Mol in Season 6. 5. So who are the new Council members going to be? Assuming Killinger is the new sovereign, I've got the following: Phantom Limb Dr. Mrs. The Monarch Watch Ward Red Mantle/Dragoon and Dr. Z return to the council? Other Revenge Society members? 6. Good thing Richard never signed those divorce papers. 7. The old sovereign is dead now I assume. Headshot sniped him on accident after the explosion right? 8. Totally wanted the real sovereign to be Jonas Venture still alive, but I guess it really was Bowie as we have been told all along. Secret president possibly Jonas Venture? I get the feeling he's still alive since we were never told how he died. 9. Where do The Moncarch and 21 go from here? Move back into the old mansion? Continue arching Dr. Venture with just the three of them? Totally called that with the Revenge Society though. The second I saw The Monarch crew walking up to that old mansion at the end of season 5 I was like "That's gotta be the building The Revenge Society has been hiding out in".

2. Failure and surprising anti-climax are two of this series most well used and explored traits, I feel like it's fair that it be burned down on accident, much like Henchman 24 being blown up in a car bomb out of no where, or Hank and Dean being killed by the henchman out of no where, and etc. 3. It's clearly shown when the Monarch and crew enter that the lightsaber duel was all in their minds, hence why when Killinger and the last investor are staring at each other with fingers on their temples you hear saber clash noises and the investor's nose is bleeding. 8. In that scene the guy and Dr. Mrs. The Monarch say like 5 times that he isn't actually Bowie or Venture, and his last words were "I'm just a guy who wanted to be anyone but himself".

I was also a bit confused by the Venture Industries compound burning down. The Monarch drew butterfly wings in gasoline in the grass. I don't see how that burns the whole place down. I like the idea of them destroying the compound, but I think they should have come up with a different way for it to be destroyed.
