@@ChrisVSCarsThere was a Venturi 400 GT owner on KZbin before, a French man who bought one of the rarest version, the GT version. He directly said to the cameraman, the Venturi 400 (and GT), are like go kart road legal car, with 400HP. It corner amazingly well. If I'm not mistaken, it was the first road legal car, with carbon ceramic brakes. The Venturi 600LM is even more rare, but I don't think it's a road legal.

There just aren’t enough of them for people to realize they even exist. Hence, no demand and low price. Had they sold a few hundred, and some in America, they may be more coveted. Cool car.

You know, in any video like this the car is the star of the show. Yet in 5 minutes worth of viewing, not once is the car heard. For me that tore the soul out of it. From what I saw, it's hard to develop any sort of love for it. The sound is what gives it character. Without it, it might just as well be a nice looking electric car.

Ill take that into consideration in future videos😁

I read about Venturi 400GT in the 1990s, in a magazine called Sports Car International. I thought it was one of the coolest things ever, and I wanted one. The first obstacle was that I was a college student, with no money to speak of. Since then I've realized it would be a huge PITA to maintain a French car in the USA. 😕

this seems like the sort of video someone might commission before they put their own super rare french sportscar up at auction(after seeing the hammer price on the last one)

The problem with French performance cars, most of them remained at the stage of concepts cars, or prototypes ready for mass limited productions, but almost never do it. Example, the Peugeot Oxia. Only 2 were ever produced, and kept at Peugeot headquarters only. The very few famous journalists or pro racing drivers that had the chance to drive one of them, said that it was from another dimension or world, back then in 1985. Oxia is the name of a place on the planet Mars. Yes the Peugeot Oxia was a production car, based on a LMP1 racing prototype, with a detuned PRV Twin turbos engine, with 690 HP, 4WD, 4WS, the most advanced technologies back then, such as electronic key, solar powered air-conditioning, and more ... Peugeot never sold it to private clients, but it was actually the fastest car in the world back to 1985, faster than all the fastest prestigious car back then, Ferrari F40, Porsche 959, Jaguar XJ220, Lamborghini Diablo, ... Literally, the PRV still holds the fastest maximum speed recorded in a racing competition with 400+ km/h.

IMO it looks like a Nissan Z31 and Z32 had a baby. Which is not a bad thing.

that car could worth more only if there an interest in it most car enthusiast never hear about it I saw it in a magazine back in 2000 I was amazed by its looks in best motoring racing segment they had the chance to compare both cars on track the F40 was faster since it was lightweight and a V8 twin turbo is better than a V6 twin turbo and all the weight the Atlantique GT had at the end the performances were similar on the straight the F40 can't be touch in corners the Atlantique has its chance to catch up thanks to Gran Turismo 2 I had a chance to race with it neutral in corners but on tracks like test course or redrock valley it's very unstable lastly I had it in my diecast collection

Best Motoring was clearly the show that was above the rest of the pack. I saw the episode F40 vs Venturi 400 GT, in fact, the F40 was only faster on the straight lines, but in corners the Venturi was easily catching up with F40. The driver in the F40 was even telling and explaining, that the F40 was too much hard on tyres, making them overheating and fading fast after only 4 or 5 laps, while the Venturi 400 GT was clearly doing well, and glueing the F40 in corners. Specially, if you consider that Nakaya had a bad start compared to the F40 rocket launch, which was alone in front, being catched up by the Venturi which was primarily blocked in traffic with other cars. Yet the Venturi catched up the F40, showing who was clearly the fastest. Now reverse the situation, and the F40 wouldn't have been able to do the same, since she was actually slower on the curves/corners. Underrated and not well known model, but a Venturi owner on KZbin, already explained the fact the Venturi is like a go kart with 400 HP. He behaves amazingly well in corners.
