The new Ford Ranger . . . Mmmmm . . . I'm not so sure I like it that much. It comes across as a little bit underwhelming for me. Perhaps they tried to do a little to much with the front lights? The F-Series in America looks a lot better with similar styled lights. Simplicity is key and I think the Ford Ranger looks a bit "over-cooked", especially at the front! Haven't seen it in the 'flesh' yet. And no paddle shifters??? That is a huge oversight! Sure, not everybody likes them, but then it should at-least have been an option as, it makes "over-writing" the auto-box such a breeze!!! (Only true 4x4 and motoring enthusiasts appreciate paddle shifters as manual transmissions are becoming ever more rare)! - Sometimes Auto-boxes just do things you don't want or even expect; and the quickest way to "correct" this is by flicking paddle shifters!!! It's such a boon to have them! I cannot believe Ford as omitted this, yet again!
