I almost never prepare regular beef at home any more. When I do it’s grass fed and finished. I eat mostly pasture raised eggs, ground bison, and ground venison for my protein sources. I’m extremely lucky in that I get all of them at my local grocery store. I eat a couple of rice bowls a day when I’m behaving (lol). It’s no bullshit either how healthy they are. I was on 40 mg simvastatin about 10 years ago and had nasty side effects so I had to stop taking it. Had my blood labs done a few months ago and my testosterone went up 46 points and all my cholesterol numbers are way better. LDL and triglycerides in normal range and my HDL is high normal. I also had a cardiac calcium score test done and my arteries are completely clear and I’m 46 years old.

Stumpy I was a amateur natural bodybuilder for quit a few years till I got my back injured at work and became disabled, I would eat almost the same amount of food a day as he does. It was a normal routine every morning to eat 2 dozen egg whites a half a grapefruit and a cup of grits. I changed my type of protein I would eat with my lunch and supper depending upon if I was in a cutting cycle of my diet or a mass building and always had 2 to 3 protein powder shakes a day and a couple apple or three rice cakes with those shakes. It was a mandatory every 2 -3 hours that I ate and I am sure he is like that as well

Good to see that Brian is still going strong, big fan, I hope that he's still around and healthy for a long time to come. He's such a sweet guy, not too many like him around anymore these days, not to mention that he's extremely knowledgeable about the sport, almost sage - like. I truly hope that he'll get to enjoy his retirement with his friends and family when he decides it's the right time, but not to wait too long, life's so short, making it all the more precious. Strongman is one the most brutal sports out there, second only to combat - type sports, even under the best conditions and best care, it takes a tremendous physical toll on the body and overall health, significantly shortening lifespan, and that's if your lucky. I want him to be able to enjoy his golden years. God bless him, his friends and family, as well as his co - workers/employees.

@@Daepilin Salt is only bad if you have any sensitivities (high blood pressure, etc.). For Brian and people who work out like him, salt is very important. Salt is one of those t hings like Gluten and cholesterol that was demonized and people are actually damaging their bodies by trying to remove as much as possible from their diet. If you do some real research, you will find that there is no bad cholesterol. There is only one kind of cholesterol and it is the most important thing in your body. Without it, you will die. Big pharma is the biggest enemy to the human race that exists.

Thank you for addressing the time between the meal and training. When I was strength training I hadn't studied, and was, on workdays, coming home after 12 hours to pound water and a couple of pounds of food while lifting right before going to bed. Knowing that a professional strongman takes plenty of time to digest before starting to train for the day puts timing into perspective.

Wouldn't be too hard to figure out actually. All you need to do is find out how many pounds of meat the average bison is, figure out how long he's been at this, and you already know how many patties he eats at a time and how much they weigh. Just a little math from there. Not math I'm willing to do, but it shouldn't be too hard to get an average lol

The clean diet and being sure that you give your body what it needs to recover and get stronger is the hardest part about any serious athletes training. I know that a lot of think it’s the training that is the hardest but sticking to your diet and knowing what needs to be done with it as you train is the real work. I was always reading some new book on nutrition and how it effected the body and how you could use certain food combinations to make your grow bigger and I had a trainer that helped with my diet

You guys are missing the whole concept his body is made up of 80% muscle you know he eats that many calories in a day? Cause that’s how he body builds dude is fucking huge because the way he eats and the way he goes hard at his work outs I betchu if he was skinnier and had smaller calorie counts inna day he would be ripped but inna skinnier way dude is big asf and has allot of muscle and barely any day cause when he eats that much he turns the fat into muscle so quickly

@@CapSuperM you are incorrect he’s a power lifter for a reason if he didn’t eat the way he did or work out the way he did he would not be that huge. Btw if he ate all that food and didn’t work out at all now that would be a problem. But he eats this much and works out so there is no problem cause he’s still choosing a healthy/big man lifestyle. Without it being all fat dude has a shit ton of muscle on his body.
