I'm not one for nostalgia and I never have been, but I find it remarkable that 20+ years since first listening to The Verve, I still find myself drawn back to their music; exploring it, thinking about it, decoding it, enjoying it. Surely proof of magic.

This is what real music artists do. Let the listener explore.
I've been listening to this song for over 4 years now and its such a soothing, yet inspirational track that sends me to a different place - a swirling dream like state that ozzes warmth. The sense of purpose that drives this song is pure, raw passion and emotion that borders on euphoria...simply beautiful - just imagining this being played on mainstream radio is simply laughable - a song that's appreciated by the few and that's how it should be....

Goddamn, that ending. The power of Nick McCabe! Reminds me of 'Patagonia' by Palms. Just beauriful work. It woukd be great to get a deluxe rerelease of Forth with all of the amazing b-sides added. Or better yet, a 'reimagined tracklisting' with the b-sides and unreleased sings incorporated proper. Imagine how that album could have been more of those songs and less Love is Noise. Boggles the mind.
