I'm 56 now, and I keep coming back to this beautiful song. I have done so, for a very long time. Do you think it's possible, after listening to countless thousands of songs over one's lifetime, to have a stand-alone, favourite? 🤔 Probably not. Some years back I watched this video and felt so bad for the guy in it. I thought about how much I loved her and how lucky I was to have such an astonishing relationship. Fastforward a few years and this video is what is happening to me in real life and I cant take it anymore. OMG brother… I feel you. Going through the same...love of my life wanted to end our relationship. I feel so lost and alone. It’s like grieving a death. Love can be so beautiful, but the downside it can feel so so so fucking bad. Makes me never want to try again, but it’s either emptiness, or extreme highs and extreme lows. If I could be certain that the highs will last forever then I might keep myself open to try again someday, but it’s frightening to think of ever going through this pain again. They say that time heals all wounds, but right now it doesn’t feel possible. Hopefully you feel much better now, and hopefully I will too eventually. Please don't feel alone.
