I recently tried Colourpop mascara, just to try it and whoa I was very impressed ! Did not expect it at all. So ran back and ordered some more. Talking about Level Up mascara. It does lengthen the lashes so noticably, now Im curious to try more of CP mascara lol. Never ever thought Id buy mascara from CP but here you go. So check it out too if youre looking for a new one.

Hi Jen, Colourpop has great palettes and I have all of their big ones already and lots of the 9 pan smaller ones too. My niece had just had her first baby so I was buying for her and me too. I got more Colourpop palettes than any other kind and most of Juvia's Place too. Sure would have been great if they had been on sale then too. LOL. You've turned into my favorite on KZbin. I appreciate all the testing and reviews you do. It influences most of my drugstore purchases. I used to turn my nose to drugstore. I have always loved cllolourpop from the beginning. It was the first affordable brand I really loved. I still have ALL of their first palettes, original in the boxes.

Thank you Jen! One thing I've found is that if you're willing to mess up the packaging - the pans in the palettes are not glued in they are magnetic - even if they don't have the little holes in the back. What I want to try is getting a large strong magnet to see if I can lift them out without messing up the packaging. Anyways, that's why I prefer ColorPop to Moira. I always destroy the palettes and the matte shades when I try to curate my Moira palettes. Love the lip recommendations as well. Take care and have a great Thanksgiving everybody!

Use any magnet- even one from the fridge. It doesn't take a lot to get them out. Best of all, if you cut out the part of the palette that surrounds the shadows but leave the magnet below intact, you have a new magnetic palette to use for whatever singles you want. Win-win-win!

I just bought the new colourpop Aurora struck pallet and I really love it! I got two of the Lippie stixs I had never tried colourpops lipsticks before and the colors are beautiful really pigmented but it transfers so bad onto my hands or anything else all throughout the day and the only type of lipstick I want to wear is one that is going to stay on my lips! My wear test is I'll put a new lipstick on it night and if it's still there the next morning and not on my pillow or anything else then it's a keeper

Speaking of Colourpop, I have to repurchase the Nude Mood Palette since mine is old like two years. I have Nude Mood, That's Taupe, Blush Crush, Making Mauves, By The Rose and Lust For Dusk eyeshadow palettes. I love the Colourpop Pretty Fresh Line such as Tinted Moisturizer, Foundation, Concealer and Powder. I love the Super Shock Cheek in the shade birthday suit which is let's jet. I recently went to Target to pick up the Gorgeous Gorgeous Super Shock Duo which includes the Super Shock Shadows in shades Rooftop Cocktails and LA Mesa. I still have Colourpop's old lipsticks and a lot are discontinued.

My favorite 9-pans are The Child and Wild Child! I probably have 8 of their 9-pans, and those two are above and beyond. Don’t be afraid of the deep tones in Wild Child if you’re considering it, because they blend like a dream and the tones are just perfection. (I’m pale to light with green eyes btw.) Sequin is also an underrated supershock shadow imo. If you’re looking for a copper shade with a “wow” factor, especially if you have green eyes, just get it!! The supershock blush in Brut Flute is excellent as well. For lighter-toned skin at least, it’s the perfect balance of pigmentation and glow. My last recommendation for the no one who asked 😂 is for the Pretty Fresh concealer, but I actually use it mixed with the Missha BB Cream as my base. It is the best balance for me, as the Missha is too dewy for me on its own, and the concealer with it makes the perfect satin/natural finish for me (but with good coverage).

Awesome video! I picked up the That's Taupe palette and all of the 9-pan Star Wars palettes yesterday. I grabbed the Stone Cold Fox palette from Ulta (50% off), so I'm not sure if I'll pick up a brush & mega palette today. I've never tried the super shocks, so I don't know if I'll place an order of those when they go on sale.

My favorite CP palette by far is the Child, my opinion the best one I have ever tried. I do have some CP singles that I really enjoy as well, Snake Eyes, Lush, Da Coco, and others. Like someone said below I cannot use shadows with carmine so I am somewhat limited in what I can buy from CP and while I don't buy as much from CP than I used to, the items mentioned above I really enjoy. As someone w a light-med, yellow undertone, I recommend: 9 pans: C-3PO, Wanna Bee, and Coral Me Maybe - yellows, corals, and peaches are more my neutrals. Nude Mood - great if u like neutrals. Much better match than many drugstore palettes that are too cool or too orange. Going Coconuts is slightly too cool-toned in the wrong way for my undertone. That's Taupe - one of the few cool-toned palettes I really like. Goes so well w my green contacts too! +12 pans (I don't have too many from CP): Off Melrose - Very pretty neutral w a twist palette, leaning more on the neutral side. Half of it is cool-toned, but works nice on my undertone. All Hallows Eve - If u like Halloween colors and depth, this is great quality. For my undertone, the neutrals are warm enough, the cooltones are the right undertones, and the colorful colors are ones that I already love. Red-leaning purples aren't flattering on me, but cool-toned ones are, so I was also excited to see that deep, cool, all-matte purple. Super Shocks: Amaze - classic champagne glittery shimmer thats glittery, but not as glittery as Ritz. Has a very slight peachy undertone. I prefer this over Ritz for everyday glam. Runyon - slightly peach, but also kind of cool leaning baby pink, satin shade. I love satin SSs for work and this works really well on my skintone and undertone for a step above no-makeup makeup looks. Very emollient for a SS, but haven't had any problems w adhesion or changes in the formula over months. Lips: Lip oils - I like super hydrated feeling lips w light color for everyday. I love that the tints are subtle but are noticeable depending on ur look. I love Smirk for cool-toned looks, Hot Shot for warm ones, and Playa Vista as a slightly warm, neutral color. Lip crayons - less hydrating than a lip oil, but more color payoff. I love the orange scent, which isn't noticable without a mask, but it's super distracting w a mask on. Skincare: BFD oil cleanser - for when u need to get really stubborn waterproof makeup off. I prefer other brands for everyday face makeup remover, but the super liquid consistency lets me put a few drops on a wet Q-tip (otherwise its too dry). This let's me remove stubborn waterproof eyeliner or shadow from my lashline, waterline, or under eye. Fresh AF face mist - l use it to set my powder foundation, which is perfect bc the mist is fine (tho a bit narrow) and the level of moisture is perfect. The Dewy one is a bit too oily for me and it also doesn't smell that great. I love that the Fresh AF comes in such a large bottle too bc I use it for everyday for setting my foundation, bit also to add extra moisture to my hand lotion after washing my hands at work, and occasionally to rehydrate my face throughout the day. Serums - the niacinamide and retinol ones are pretty nice if u are interested in these kinds of serums.
