After trying to control a lot of things in my life and realizing the state of consciousness it was putting me in, I learned that trying to control everything isn't the way to achieve success or alignment. As a recovering control freak myself, I would try and control the process and outcomes of almost everything in life. Those of you that can relate to this, also know that being this way often attracts anxiety, unnecessary resistance and friction between you, your actions and your manifestations.
The key to healing the "control freak" within yourself is to realize that the mechanism of needing to control comes from childhood experiences. We make decisions based off affirmations we receive in our reality. Say for example, if as a child, someone faced abandonment issues or trauma from parent(s), that will become a trigger to an adulthood pattern. The need to control things in adulthood can easily be tied back to the need to feel certainty and safety. Once you realize this, you can make the choice to heal, let go more and trust the universe.

Aaron. I had just considered taking my own life this past Saturday. I have never had such a low opinion of myself before in my life. Right now I’m sitting here wondering how it was even possible that I’ve let myself sink this low. The thing is, I’m currently on a journey to transform, and when I made critical errors during that journey as a result of putting myself out there, it caused me to feel overwhelmed beyond belief and want to give up on it all. Thanks Aaron. Your video brings so much of peace to me. Currently I am going through the spiritual awakening and I have been currently feeling disconnected with my parents, friends around me. Also had a few relationships failure, which drained my energy. I am an empath, I feel so much of emotions into my body that I can’t explain. This led me to my spiritual awakening. My depression led me to expand my consciousness. I can’t explain how does it feels. It feels like you are loosing friends, you can’t keep up with your family expectations. I have left job which used to pay me more, but drained my mental health. I am now working with very less salary but it keeps my mental health intact. I am now not a conventional daughter to my parents where my parents expect me to get married or earn more. I am just trusting the Universe right now and its process. I am healing from my childhood trauma. This community gives me so warmth. I just feel that I am not alone. I always cursed myself feeling too much of emotions. But now I feel that I am not alone.

For sure, childhood shaped who I am. It was challenging. A dad's suicide (when he was the nurturer) was breaking. I only realized recently that I have said I trust myself. Asking others for their opinions or help means that I don't trust me and universe. BUT I HAVE DONE this before. I smacked rock bottom. I broke open. Ahh. Okay. Dr. Chopra and his modalities in medicine are inspiring to me. I made the intention to choose to let go of whatever or whomever I need in order to fulfill my calling. I haven't imagined being a physician or hell a physicist until recently. Learning where he teaches - UC SD, that his practice of integrative/holistic healing is there... well... I wonder. Sure. NC has great colleges right? I know this but I said to myself I would let go and let the universe hold the reins. I don't have all the details yet, but a gut feeling that it's coming and will shift quickly. I said "I will never move back to the west coast." 😅 The universe has a sense of humor. Smh. Before, living in OR wasn't for me. This is.

Hi Aaron, I just did exactly this. I put in my name to retire from my full-time job in the fall but was very stress because I don't have a big pension. But after much thought and discussion with my partner I realized that now was the time to pursue my dreams so I did it. I'm leaving my job at the end of March. And after I made the decision I knew with certainty it was the right thing to do. My stress level has gone way down to almost nothing. I totally believe in my ability to create abundance now. I really believe that I can have the life I want. Thank you for all that you do.

My meditation into my higher self. Two mirrors the smoke now gone from between them. Frist one is all existence including this earth in the present timeline. I am in the second mirror; being the embodiment of love, hope, joy, and gratitude. Bring with me love, hope, joy, and gratitude; I walk into the first mirror and send out light as a sun.
