I saw the KZbin account of Emily Wilson come by and I thought: who is this woman and what is it what she wants to explain to the world? Then, I saw videos from her in different catholic KZbin accounts and now, I see that she also has had an interview with Ascension Presents! This video is great! I totally agree with you, Emily. Thank you for spreading this message. Thank you, Ascension Presents, for making this video!

Very lovely and encouraging video. As stated in the video, I also don't believe I am supposed to be like a man. However, by being a feminist, I am advocating to have equal rights and be treated with the same respect as men.

Feminism is not being the same as men.. It's having the same value of equality as men...

Kadie Yazd feminism should mean that women who choose to pursue the same careers as men be treated equally but also that women in traditionally female roles be valued as well. Right now a childcare worker makes less than an engineer. Both jobs are important. That isn't a female centred society.

thats exactly what feminism is or what it should be. I am a feminist myself and also a catholic
@leabit92146 жыл бұрын
Nope , that's not what feminists teach nowadays .. They should promote what you just said but they don't , they should also teach woman to embrace themselves as WOMEN and not fight to be what God did not create them to be ..

@emilywilson feminism is not about being the same as men... it’s about being equal and equitable as men and women.

Then why isn't it called equalitism?

Frank O'Connor once said: "No man is as anti-feminist as a really feminine women." I love it ♡ And it's exactly me: I try to become more and more feminine. And it makes me very happy ♡

actually that makes a woman every much a feminist,b/c she is able to make the choice and stand by it firmly. Thats a deeply feminist move🙂

I don't hate Emily's message at all but it is incredibly frustrating to have it continually assumed that just because someone is a feminist that they must be "trying to be like a man." Like NO!!! Dead wrong. I have NO desire to be like a man, but yes, I am a feminist. Meaning that I want to be a WOMAN in the MANY and VARIED ways that one can be a woman (there is NOT just ONE path). Wish this pervasive lie would go away forever!!!!

Nice encouraging content but not particularly in depth in any way. I feel it spent more time on cut scenes showcasing acoustic guitar than getting to the heart of the matter which is so very important to bring to the discussion.

are we ok to wear bikinis on a beach?
@margocatholic7 жыл бұрын
Nope, bikinis are immodest; we shouldn't be flaunting our bodies but respecting our bodies by not overshowing.

Sleeves should be a minimum quarter length...instead you present Emily with sleeveless garb in a talk on Modesty, Faith, and Femininity...smh

Everyone can decide for themselves what is modest to them. It’s about the intent behind it and not a specific rule.

Florine F Yeah you tell them. Tell the person to be quiet and say nothing. Cause we don't like what they said. So they need to stay quiet and not bother us.
