I like the dual sense but it’s a bit to big for my hands and the analog stick position isn’t great for me since I’m use to Xbox. This is a must buy for me for playing shooters.

​@@FS-zt6tm The reason is the supply for the hall effect joysticks are not as big as standard joysticks so it would cost money feed that supply especially with covid. The hall effect joysticks are also more expensive so the cost for the controller would be really high and less people would wanna spend 100+ dollars for a standard controller heck with all the feature the ps5 controller has 70 bucks is big ask for the majority Not only that magnets are involved and being next to the battery it means the RND to build a controller with the proper protection would cost even more money. Its similar to apples magsafe technology aside from the trademark though you likely can skirt a similar technology the knowledge and money to properly do so prevents a lot of companies from doing a similar idea. It's cheaper for companies like Sony and Microsoft to just replace controllers out right or have them sent in to be fixed if they have a issue vs with all the money in total to make a hall effect controller happen the ones that do are small companies that don't have to supply a lot and likely don't have the long term protections for the longevity life of the battery . Magnets and Heat are a quick way to kill a battery even if either of the two aren't that strong to out right kill it. I almost forgot hall effect trend is fairly new so the desire for such was low when designing the current generation. It likely will be on more controllers when a major company bites like Sony, Nintendo or Microsoft possible the next steam deck could push the desire to make such standard happen. Think of it like USB-C its happening but slowly.

I need this controller asap man, I don't like the ps5 controller it hurts my thumbs pretty bad being so close to each other. I usually use my xbox elite 2 controller right now on ps5 with the adapex adapter since ps5 doesn't really have any good ones like the elite. The new victrix controller looks just like the elite and it looks a lot better than the ps5 pro controller that is coming out soon

Are the 4 buttons in the right thumb stick module micro-switches? What about the back 4-buttons. Can the right side thumbstick+buttons be inverted? Face buttons down low, thumbstick on top? I imagine the Square, Triangle, Circle, Cross button labels will be all upside down, but does it still work despite that? The back buttons are nice. Not a fan of paddles. I like my fingers on the buttons not reaching or resting on paddles. Plus honestly the controllers look like odd with paddle sticking out.

According to NihongoGamer, dpad is not so reliable for fighting games, which is more important than the buttons. Id stick with their fight stick for that.

Honestly it depends on the dpad you use. For me I don’t have any issues using any of the dpads and I play a ton of fighting games and have for decades. As I said in the video, my favorite dpad is the one from the Razer Raion due to the micro switches in that controller.

Bought my first ps console a month ago and find the ps5 controller to be the most uncomfortable controller ever made. Wrist, fingers, forearms all hurt after 30 minutes of playing. This looks more like an Xbox controller so I’m hoping it changes my experience with the ps5.

I highly suggest trying out a razer controller in store before buying one, because the paddle placement/design they've been going with is truly horrible. I own the xbox counterparts to these, and the victrix outperforms the razer EASILY.

8:04 Advice because I see potential. You got to clean or do a better job attempting to clean products you are reviewing or showcasing even the regular ps5 controller. Even though the target audience including myself has a similar situation in real life. I feel zooming into a dirty controller with skin bits and stains tarnishes the effort you put in the video and possibly turns people away. My second advice is try to not mention you use other products by a product you are reviewing especially if its something little people actually use because to me it comes off like you are being bought by said company to sell said product and it destroys the genuine nature of the review.

I have the original gambit controller and the purple silicone face plate makes the thumbsticks feel smooth while moving around. I use L1 and R1 for fps games, but the triggers and bumpers are to close together and not comfortable for the Xbox layout, while using L1/R1 to aim snd shoot. L2 and R2 or triggers on the Gambit are responsive but feel like cheap plastic. I forgot to mention the Gambit has less input lag compared to a standard Xbox controller, but a PS5 controller hooked up to a cronus zen on xbox series x feels like it has less input delay than the Gambit on my Series X. No I don't cheat, I have no settings saved on my zen for any cheats.
