I've watched your videos from the beginning. It wasn't just for the re-build or for your travels, I would have thought people would have followed you "just because" , it was just a continuation of what you do, the places you go, things that happen on and off the bus. KZbin channel are evolving everywhere, and especially with a "project based" channel when there is kind of a deadline. Do what is best for you and more than likely either the old crowd will follow or you will get a new one going. Yikes! This is quite the challenge. I did not find your channel until the very end of the build. Its been lovely to travel with you the last year or so. And you have to come back to Washington because you missed the pastries at the Market Street Bakery in Chehalis. You are the third channel I follow that after taking holiday time off, has come back with a "things are gonna change" video. We experienced very similar. We were building our bus. But when we finished we transitioned into travel videos. Views dropped etc and now we haven’t posted anything in months. We made a similar build montage as it was easier to share with people new to the channel rather than watching 100 videos of our build. I came to your channel for the bus -to-tiny house on wheels conversion but I wasn't so interested in the travel. Occasionally, if you uploaded a video that looked interesting to me, I'd check it out. I stayed subscribed so I could see the uploads... but I confess that most of the time I don't watch them. What most people do in your situation is choose a place in the country you love (since you've been everywhere now), buy some land and build a home base - and that generally transfers your original audience. Trent & Allie is the best example of this... and they still run a conversion company in Utah called Mountain Made Vans or something like that and continue to do conversions... but their audience transrerred and continued to grow. Trent started another channel called Trent's Garage but he hasn't had the time to keep up with that as much. Still I watch every one of their house build videos. We want to see you succeed... and you did, with your conversion, but now we have no idea what ultimate goal you are working toward. Just enjoying yourselves and sharing that is not going to bring or keep the audience. So... my two cents for you... for whatever that is worth. Thanks for sharing all this with us - the vulnerability just endears you to us even more.

You are right, if you haven’t been a KZbinr you really don’t understand all the work that goes in and how hard it is to earn decent money for your work. Never mind all the different jobs you are doing (unless you have millions of subscribers and a team creating the videos). We are up for the challenge though. The first video of yours that I saw was about a year ago when you were heading west and stopped in Tucson, which is where I live. I watched the next several videos, as you visited places to which I had also been. But once you got to the coast at San Diego and headed north, all the spots were new to me and unfortunately not of much interest. I was always interested in the bus conversion details, fixing breakdowns, hanging the window tint, etc. I will never ever be doing this myself, but I really enjoy watching y'all doing it.
