Skins in League, hell in most games that have skins, already follow the "This is a different version of the character that exist in a different time" thing. They could even make it more fun with voicelines alluding to the fact that the same character with different skins is not the same person. Arcane Vik as a skin could be fighting an enemy OG Vik and say something like "So this is what could've been...", for example.

Man I hate how Riot keeps trying to merge Arcane lore with League lore. When will they realize that if they actually want Arcane's lore to replace League's, it'd take a ridiculous amount of effort and complete removal of League's lore? Arcane and Main League is incompatible, and attempts to merge it results in this garbage. Man this really reminds me of when Riot decided to remove the lore of Old League and go for a clean slate. They scrapped a lot of the more unique aspects like the player being an actual character in the game (summoner), the institute of war (literal war games to decide who owns a certain territory, the origin of summoner's rift itself), even the title of champion itself (used to be referred as such because they are the ones that are part of the roster for each nation). In the end, they didn't even manage to do it properly (summoner's rift is still summoner's rift, mentions of summoner's existence can still be found (iirc Brand's voice lines, Sona mind transmission)). So it really isn't a surprise that this clownery exists.

BASED League veteran right here They need to settle for the concept that their lore is divided, incoherent, and never will be a grand singular story, because they continue to scrap it all away. Time and time again they have re-written lore, reworked entire characters, and these absolute wild differences between League and Arcane are far too much to count them as the same universe. They embrace AUs with skin lines all the time, why can't they do it for this show? I think their constant layoffs has deeply fractured their skin and lore teams. They must learn to respect the foundations they built or risk breaking it down more trying to put the pieces together again.

honestly, probably a misguided attempt to communicate champion role. On paper, it makes sense to take the armor away from champs that are squishy and emphasize their weapons to visually communicate them as DPS. I do honestly think viktor didn't have this problem too much, though, given he's a battlemage so he builds a little tankier than most mages anyways, and he still appears as somewhat small just by nature of how reserved his animations are.

Another one (that used to even have % dmg reduction) is a damn tree. And Viktor was the individual that pushed that to the extreme with his modifications for his glorious evolution. Instead they made him look like a skinny celestial with basic wizard magic. As one of the people from the Viktor Mains subreddit, just gonna reiterate my thoughts and also go more in depth for the comment section: I adore Arcane Viktor and I adore playing League Viktor. I was so excited to see how Riot was going to change him to match with how he was in the show but still keep him MY Viktor in game. I was thinking we'd get a more faithful LOOK as to how he was in the show but even more robotic. You know - on the skinny side but more metal everywhere, tall, imposing, and abilities like controlling the enemy/turning minions into robots or something, evolution in your kit like how the old hexcore worked, augments based on what you built in game, or hell, go wild and have him even do a fast zoom thing or a way that his hex-claw grabs and chokes champions or something to this affect to make him match with how he is in the show. Go all in on making him Arcane Viktor if you want. Commit to the VGU. Instead, his kit remains unchanged. Now he's just this tech dude with none of the tech. Why the fuck would you delete all aesthetics of the old character, what many of us mains had first gravitate to and made us like Viktor to begin with, but keep his outdated kit - you know, the part that makes him a niche champion that barely anyone plays? It's truly baffling. You can't change him into Arcane Viktor to make him recognizable to fans of the show first picking up the game but then make him have no actual abilities from the show NOR can you keep all parts of Viktor's old kit of lasers and magnetic fields and SCIENCE for OG Vik fans like me but make him look like Azir and Hwei had a baby that got sent to live in the Void for a couple of years but came back teal instead of purple. This isn't a Galio or Aatrox situation where it feels like the previous character was deleted and you were given a way better product nor is it a Fiddlesticks or Volibear where they play and look a lot like how they used to but just with way more polish and viable kit to make them feel in line with modern league - this is like if you replaced old Skarner with new Skarner but actually nvm guys we changed our minds, he's not even a Scorpion at all anymore, let's make him a Dragon with a Scorpion tail because that fits better with the image of a God of Ixtal oh but let's keep his old kit, spiers and all, because we don't want to turn off all the old Skarner players guys. Anyway, feels bad man. If he goes live without any fixes, I genuinely feel like I've wasted money on every one of his current skins except maybe Psyops. These are pure downgrades and I'd honestly rather just play base Viktor. It almost feels like incentive for people to pay to buy his Arcane Savior skin just so that at least his spell effects match with a mage and not an inventor. I hope our petition goes through and Riot goes back to the drawing board and actually consults people other than their shareholders on what level is an acceptable rework and what is just an ultimate skin that replaced the base model.

Believe me when I say this. Lol ( the game ) has been a sinking ship. The falling flat of the reworks he retc9nning of the lore, the blatant and forced change to tickle the fanbase/players they so rely on can only mean one thing! riot is failing to adjust the new and fresh with the old but gold ,ending up with a fistful of mud in their hands and an angry community. Wild rift being built from the ground up gave them more breathing room to make it easily better than its PC counterpart , there is literally almost no drama on wild rift due to the fact that it's completely cut off from the flaming mess of competitive gaming due to the fact its very centered on casual play. I like to think that one or possibly some of the devs went on about how they are tired of dealing with the same cluster fuck everyday and just went like " you know what would be cool? Robot t-rex! "

So not only has riot consistently made shit design choices (eg the exalted skins like the Jinx one being expensive gacha's for no reason), they also decide to make Arcane full cannon and adjust multiple champs directly for it in which case Viktor looks SIGNIFICANTLY worse in all of his skins and the base skin looks super wonky. The kit could have used an upgrade, maybe slight VGU. Riot should refund any mf that got his skins. They made him from a mad scientist to some eldritch twink wizard. He lost his identity.

Please stop dragging an entire company full of people who have crafted some of the most iconographic and poetic champions and stories because they tried something that didn’t work out. Sometimes i imagine another universe where viktor removes his tendons by himself and swaps them with machinery, where arcane is 3 seasons and simple without a Marvel plot as an ending, where there are no cringe sorcerer being overpowered and consumed by his power Imagine that he's just his old cannon lore guy, who modified himself and "fixes" random people locally and being like a different kind of singed. Warwick actually being this cool bloodthirsty monstrosity that hunts people down with incredible chemtech visuals, instead of being a super saiyan robot without any emotions Ambessa doing actions that are totally opposite of her character for plot progression in the end Piltover actually having an army, instead of 30 people as well as a NOXIAN general coming with a 30 people army as well (some of which weren't even a part of Ambessa's army), one side with intent to save the world or at least a whole nation and the others to win against a nation. Caitlyn fighting close combat the whole series Almost everything else i really liked but i hated act 3, it was rushed af and got turned into a cliche marvel movie. All the built up of sympathy for jinx (especially after ep 6 which was the breaking point) - gone, even if what was happening was sad in the series, it was more comical than sad, i even started disassociating the characters with themselves. Vi going down on Caitlyn during a noxian invasion and right after Jinx ran away to obviously off herself I really really loved episode 7 from act 3, even though they introduced the foreshadowing marvel plot because it was so well made as an individual episode that i could just not hate it, it was perfect pace, perfectly placed in the story and right after a sad moment (ep 6), showing a contrast between Jayce's hell and Ekko's paradise. It was a show for 3 seasons with Zaun and Piltover but they had to rush it, and even still, i am tuned in for their next creations. For the game though, it feels teeeerrible because all of the old lore gets invalidated to a huuuge point and their quick bad reworks prove it

As many others have said before: The new design should have been a skin, and its proportions should not have been retroactively applied to his existing skins and base model. A lot of details are lost when trying to force an existing design onto a new shape, and this is a perfect example of that. What hurts the most though is the removal of his original lore. Viktor was -quite literally- a self-made man. All of his accomplishments are from his own hard work and genius. Now? Sure, he and Jayce created the Hex Core, but Viktor lost a lot of agency in Act Two of Arcane. Jayce is the reason he fused with the Core, Singed’s experiments and Vander’s blood are how he came back. So little was actually done *by* Viktor himself in this new lore. Additionally, the shift from ‘machines powered by magic’ to ‘magically created machines’ might sound small in theory, but in practice it’s huge. Viktor working in a lab designing and forging his own augmentations makes him a lot more relatable. More human, ironically. Everything he did was done intentionally and with thought and purpose behind it. Now it’s just “I willed the magic of the Arcane to transform myself and my followers, and this is the form it took.” It just feels… lazy. All of it feels lazy.

Warwick had a great transformation so did Dr. Mundo and they both had experience with some change in proportions especially WW. It really does feel lazy i might have to say, they didn’t commit to anything other than the visual change which doesn’t align with his former lore and his gameplay doesn’t align with his “current lore”, but if they did a full rework like they did with WW for example making the blood scent one of his core mechanics, so for example implementing some kind of puppet style gameplay like azir would make a lot more sense… i actually prefer the new lore of viktor but the changes are incomplete/lazy or whatever

Bad rework. They downgraded every skin he had (the only rework they did on them is make him really skinny), they didn't change his kit wich doesn't make sense regarding arcane. At least they should have the balls to completly change him and not leave out the worst part of his old kit. But tbf, even in arcane viktor got the "hey look viktor/league players we got you look your guy viktor still has that laser and says the line !!" despite his laser arm being really weird considering he became a "god" in the serie, it's so obvious they wanted to catter to league players with this one but the end product feels really poorly made. In the end, his W still sucks and is useless most of the game because nowadays every champ has some sort of burst of MS / dashes (just look at ambessa there is NO way you stun her unless someones does it before you), his ult unless you get kills will remain also useless against a lot of champions that can dash out or escape. Viktor has been bad the day Syndra's rework came out, she is Viktor but BETTER.

Riot has shown a history of doing this before, just to characters less popular. Trundle the Troll King once had lore of him being fiercely intelligent, the saviour of his race by taking on all the diseases an ancient curse had given his people. His regeneration was strong enough to handle it, and free his people. His kit was themed around spreading plagues and diseases, which is why his Q would Slow, his E was a poison pillar, and his ult was a draining disease. He was reworked in 2014 to be "Big Ice guy who hits people with Ice stick" and relegated to background Freljordian.

IMO riot is losing touch with their audience. The Viktor Rework, Gacha Implementation and LPL casting drama has all been met with backfire from the community. There have been zero comments about this and before the viktor rework, I just thought the executive board were just money hoarding and they were struggling to expand with their current ongoing projects. However this visual overhaul even makes no sense from a profit standpoint. Viktor was not in need of a complete VGU, not even compared to other arcane characters. They spend a bunch of resources trying to reinvent the wheel with Viktor and all together, it shows the detachment of Riot management from the general audience.

I honestly think a lot if it has to do with poor financial management leading to profit-hungry practices to keep afloat and able to expand. Right now, riot is working on 2XKO, the mmorpg which they had scrapped ENTIRELY, and supposedly a SECOND mmorpg in the valorant universe, as well as any other projects they haven't announced yet. I have no doubt they are BURNING money in development right now. Gacha and Whales as a method of generating money also just unfortunately works. Some people are just ill enough to spend that much money on basically nothing, nobody feels like their being left out because most of the expensive stuff is shit anyways, and it leads to them having more money to spend on the community as a whole, such as adding swarm and other gamemodes that generate literally no profit. I don't agree with it, but they sold 2,000 of the 500$ ahri skin in just South Korea in 4 HOURS, only including people at the launch event. This model just works for some reason, and it doesn't miff people off nearly as much as putting a membership or some other cost for average players. In regards to the viktor stuff..... I think it's really blown out of proportion. I agree on the skin models/concepts not being very good(prototype is SUCH a let down), I agree that his kit should've had more changes, given it doesn't make any sense for him to have his current kit with his new backstory and character, and it's practically just an ASU right now and not actually a VGU, but I REALLY think people are being way too dramatic in a lot of other ways. Like, saying he's not unique with Syndra just because he's a power-hungry magic user feels so dumb. Garen and Aatrox both use greatswords. Galio and malphite are both big sentient rocks. Talon and katarina are both noxian assassins that use knives. Two characters sharing one or two traits doesn't make them not unique. I actually do agree he looks a little too much like Hwei, but that's mostly a fault of them removing his mask in every skin for some reason, which I won't deny is pretty shitty. People also complain about the lore being changed, but it straight up wasn't remotely consistent before. One day he helped somebody with a prosthetic arm, the other he forced someone to become almost a full robot because he's an evil robotics man. He was just a sort of goofy looking russian mechanical man who had some sort of connection to jayce, and that's about it. Now he's... not even describable in a paragraph, but he's actually consistent. Honestly, it just feels like people go ballistic on anything new for the game that isn't a strict upgrade just to vent their frustration from being legitimately addicted to the game. Not to say everyone who levels criticism against the game is doing that, but a lot of the criticism I've seen recently is just regurgitating what a streamer says and using it as an opinion-wave so people can parasocially feel like they're a member of a group.

The Viktor rework is such a non-issue: there are plenty of people who like viktor for is kit, removing it for a arcane viktor vgu would leave as many people complaining as they do now. You can't really make a arcane viktor skin with the current viktor modell due to the vastly different proportions, so introducing a arcane viktor skin would require a whole ass new modell with new animations, so they decided, hey if we are dojng this anyway why not give it to every viktor skin, and just makes the arcane viktor the standard skin.

the entire league community honestly was and still is being treated like this, they are more focused on putting rushed skins, the league we known isn't the same its about money now. They use to put so much love in doing chromas where they would have their own recall colors and skills colors different from the rest and now they make chromas that are either colored horribly and doesn't even have the their own color theme and skills with it anymore, their focus is skins and yet their still messing it up awfully. They made a 200 dollar Yasuo skin mind you its the remake of Nightbringer but with just white hair and horns, same voice dialogs, same character standing and running model but for 200 dollars. Doesn't sound like were the love for chromas went, you know the 240-450 RP (I don't remember I don't buy them anymore) with their same remodels of the exact skin but with different colors. for example Yasuo spirit blossom is well done and his Chromas, but something like true damage Yasuo, doesn't even have his own tornado colors or recall colors like spirit blossom does. If you think this is false take a older skin for example like High Noon Yasuo, All of his chromas are well done with their color themes, but another one like Sea Dog Yasuo... even that's horrible. I legit watch it happen through time and time again and it spreads like a virus, League of legends has lazy, rushed, paid for workers who doesn't show love in the game at all yet alone for the story. Do I remind you (Arcane spoiler); Ambessa is dead in the series but alive in the game.. take Yone for example I think that's where the last love for league of legends ended, the fact that that they listened to their own lore and knew he was dead but found a way to put him into the game by giving a story to why he's alive again that made sense because the little known about Ionia to the point where they had time to fit it in because It would make sense, and they backed it up by making lore animations to watch (2) of them both the spirit blossom and the clash of the brothers. Instead of rushing season 2 Arcane that was written horribly and rushed and left audience confused in silence.. this is what we waited 3 years for? I'm not why they rushed season 2 but it was better that they kept their word 12:20 but the damage is done, like the fire the lit in firing the artist who use to make the skins we liked that wasn't rushed just to hire new ones that did exactly what they wanted and wasn't so good with colors like the ones that they fired. The only thing I can say is on the behalf of all of league of legends community is that we would rather you not rush League of legends lore and game play in making champions looks worst than they do, not matching on wallpapers than they do look like in game, and just take your time and show consistency in the right direction than the path we are heading to.. League End. League Of Legends Is Home of many Millions all over the globe and we don't need this kind of unprofessionalism, If you need people to help advance ideas that would count and help the community of all throughout league of legends, Hire someone like me or someone or some people who knows well like Necrit or someone who mains and know everything well about the game and lore. Someone who will evaluate that damage that could be done if something does not happen in the right direction, someone who will say Listen up team lets avoid the further damage because these people are spending money in our game and regretting it because we are rushing products such as skin making and lore, lets take a step back. That way it could have stayed more true to the Arcane series look instead of awkwardly trying to use a tiny bit of visual elements of League Viktor and then making nobody happy. IMO they should have better adapted Arcane Viktor into old League Viktor. When in S1 you see the Hextech Laser Arm prototype, it's like: "Ok, something's coming!". But then as S2 developed, it's nothing of what you'd expect from Viktor's character. So, while I understand the praise for the show (I'm a big fan myself), I think they didn't do a correct job towards Viktor's character development in S2. They did not conform to his original design whatsoever.

They actually had designs for Machine Herald Viktor. But between Seasons the writing team shrunk (one writer claims there was only 3 of them working on season 2). And that's probably the reason Viktor was changed and why some characters feel like after thoughts, Vi just went where the plot needed her for the later half of season 2. Also we got leaks of the Arcane Season 1 models the mage who saved Jayce wasn't originally going to be Viktor as he had a differently designed beard and body.

Old Viktor had a lot going for him. He was the embodiment of an aspect of Piltover and Zaun. Progress through understanding and science, unrestricted by morality and rules. Though hextech has magical origins, its usage was highly scientific. Viktor's character design and themes highlight this. The hexcore upgraded over the game, in ever iteration of it. His understanding of his equipment improved as he utilized it in the field, and became better as he upgraded it. His moves weren't magical spells, but technology. That's what most of Piltover/Zaun is about. In a world of magic, this one place was about technological advancement and understanding. You can see it in basically every plitover/zaun champ. Warwick and Mundo are science experiments gone wrong. Pretty much every Piltover champ is high society steampunk, except camille who is high society cybernetics. Urgot is a gang leader, outside the control of even the chem barons. Renata is a chem baron, controlling the flow of drugs and chemtech, and even using her influences to infiltrate the aristocracy. Jayce is the 'perfect piltovan' who is good at everything and is upset when someone else is better at something than him. And Viktor is a perfect zaunite. Underestimated, talented in a field but unable to flourish because of the conditions he exists in, in a world were the morally questionable is acceptable. The only character who doesn't really fit in with the rest of Piltover/zaun thematically is Zeri. Her thing is electricity magic, and the only thing that makes her 'zaun' is that they gave her a gun to focus her magic. Its not really that interesting. Even Sera feels like her story is written with more intention than Zeri's was.

Biggest issue with the new Viktor is that He's not the center point for me anymore, In the old Viktor the whole glorious Evolution was designed and invented by him, His talent and intelligence alone. Now it's all about the arcane/hexcore, to me he's just a vessel or a key where he just activated it and the entity of the arcane did all the work for him. When I look at the new Viktor all I can think about is the hexcore and what it did to Viktor and the glorious evolution. Like I understand that they stay away from the metal mechanical theme but atleast if they gonna go for the rework atleast put the identity of Him as the one that invent and made the hexcore.

Like, their both heralds of a magic revolution that destroys the world(which might even be the SAME magic source, just modernized for Viktor), they both cover their faces, and they both attack people's minds.

RIP chad Viktor how refused his human frailty and created machinary that rivaled even actual magic. I thought that was the whole point of his character. He worked his ass off to get into Piltover, and he continued grinding to evolve himself physically. He didn't need magic, he created it himself. Now everything is just happening automatically and he gained godlike powers by sitting in an egg.

I think this could have gone so much better if they just went the machine angle instead of magic angle. When he first heals Huck in the fissures and you see the metal around him fly up and fuse with him, I was convinced this was the point where Viktor was going to start converting to machinery, and the “mage” aspect of him was just a means to achieve machine perfection. Instead they went full mage with him and now he can mind meld people, has telekinesis, and can time travel for some reason?

The new skins seemed to remove the shadows, making him less mechanical looking so that he looks closer to Fortiche’s art style. That’s why he looks flat - fortiche used an art style that utilized a lot of flat surfaces.

No one ever makes good media based on the source material. We thought thats what we were getting with season 1. They always have to change it drastically. Warwick and viktor are drastic changes, now theres cannon champion deaths which I feel like it undermines them being called champions in the first place. And plenty more to complain about. They need to respect the source material and make a show based on a game. Not a game based on a show. The more they retcon things the more league will lose diversity in its champions. The show doesn't respect the characters identity in game because apparently the writers of arcane aren't creative enough to make a story combining these different characters. By changing the character they will inevitably alienate the players that enjoys that specific character. I believe a big reason league is popular is because you can express yourself with the characters you play. You also get to kinda put yourself in their shoes for a bit like an rpg. Making Arcane cannon would be like taking the Witcher show and changing the games to fit the tv shows more. It's stupid. If I were to play the new Viktor I probably wouldn't enjoy him anymore, even though his kit is essentially the same. The appeal of the character is completely gone for me with the new "twink mage" Viktor. No more Giga chad machine augmenter Viktor. One of my biggest gribes with the second season were the massive lore changes and the amount of questions left open. Viktor is the perfect example for this problem. In the city of science we make it all about magic. It's not about merging the two anymore, which is what the first season started. I truely wish that Victory would have had a set back after his cult ark and after he got shot to go back more to Science and machinery. Make him the science wizard and allow him the sleak dark magic PAIRED with actual mechanical elements. We see him mind magic cogs and gears ehen he transformed and healed people.. why not make that a visual element?

Hextech has been tied to the Arcane as a main focus since its creation and the entirety of S1. The science here, Hextech, had consequences and ties the characters never expected. All the hextech cores are is a way to replicate Arcane power. So why would Viktor, the one seeking efficency and progress, use a replica when he has touched and became one with the real thing?

​@@shaddoww1136I think the problem is the premise. Hextech did exist in the old lore, but hextech is expensive AF. Victor operates in Zaun, where the poor live and he has to make due with what is available. I think if they went further in that direction it would have worked out better. I've never seen him as an evil world ending threat, but more as a guy starting his own little rebellion. He's helping people but goes too far. My suggestion would have been to make him realize that his "cure" is flawed or his arcane powers deminished after his death and now he goes back to metal. Jayce and him can never see eye to eye again.. I mean the dude literally shot him, so U got enough conflict there. PnZ felt more like a war between more "simple" people, compared to other regions. It's a lot more about corrupt politics and gang violence in Zaun with Piltover as the oppressor from above. Something Arcane did was make the whole city feel awkwardly small while scaling up the stakes for no reason. So basically his motivation makes sense within the context of the series, but I think they could have changed it to be more in line with what we knew about the character.

The biggest inconsistency is that Riot call Arcane a "spin-off", then they can literal things from Arcane to add it to the lore itself. But, not only that: They didn't do the same treatment with Warwick's appearance. That's the biggest incongruence in Arcane.

Compared to the previous reworks like skarner and udyr, this could hardly be called a rework. They literally buffed one part of his kit, not even the part that needed a buff if I’m being honest. Then they completely threw his initial theme to the curb, and even went as far to go in the opposite direction of Viktor’s initial obsession with progress. He lost his mechanical design and lost his technological evolution theme. The whole reason I started playing Viktor was because he was an awesome robot guy who evolved as the match went on. I forget the name of this skin 7:52 . THIS IS MY FAVORITE SKIN and they fucking butchered it! I can get over a $500 dollar skin that I really wanted. Sure, whatever, everyone wanted the ahri skin, it was a dumb decision but greedy corporations do that. THIS! This is completely ridiculous! His whole esthetic has been butchered just because riot is trying to market an overly popular show. I love arcane but man Viktor didn’t deserve this. The glorious revolution is over.

I definitely prefer old viktors design if I had to choose because his design and aesthetic was the reason I started playing him. Huge letdown of a character update. They nuked his aesthetic and changed his lore from "guy turns himself into a cyborg out of disappointment with the human condition" to "guy gets pushed around with no agency for two seasons and blindly trusts in magic to fix everything." That and he just suddenly decided to make everyone a hivemind against their will, whereas the best part of old Viktor was that he only 'upgraded' people who came to him for it. That Ekko comic where Viktor started making people go cyborg against their will was HATED by his fanbase for just that reason.

its certainly better if everything cross-media is coherent, and in terms of marketting if someone likes a character in one media they are more likely to engage with it in the other media. BUT cross media is difficult, because multiplayer games dont have stories, at least League doesnt, because its an unideal medium to do so. They tried it with Gangplank but it didnt go so well, people want to play what they like, not for what they like to change. But anyway, if characters have an arc, they become someone else at the end obviously, and thats not what a lot of people want with their champions.

I do think their is some level of that. Galio is a good example. His old design was pretty blaned and his new deighn and lore give him a much cooler place in the world. People fought that, and now for the most part no one cares. But I do think the new deisghn is a bit sloppy with them trying to squish to many aspects of his old design and his Arcane design. If they are going with a more Arcane light design they should just commit and try to make it as much like the show as possible. The base model does need some work, and I agree that some of the new skins need some tweaking as well. But overall Viktor needed a change, and this might not be the worst way to go as long as they fully commit.

They could have just done what they did in Legends of Runeterra- release Viktor, Arcane Herald, as a new champion. Every problem I've seen goes away if they do this. This even makes more money since they can sell 'new' skins with all the rework skin models they already made. So, here is my pitch for Arcane Viktor: Passive: Glorious Evolution Champion and epic monster takedowns grant a stack of Progress. Every 3 stacks of Progress, Viktor may augment a basic ability. Q - Sublime Intersection Active: Viktor projects the anomaly over a small area, slowing all enemies in the radius by 30% for .6 seconds before it detonates, dealing damage. Both the area and damage scale with Progress. 6/5.5/5/4.5/4 second cooldown. Augment: The area remains marked by the arcane, slowing enemies within the radius for an additional 1.4 seconds. W - Tainted Touch Passive: Dealing damage with attacks and abilities applies stacks of Ichor on the enemy, increasing the damage they take from Viktor by 2% for 4 seconds. Active: Stun an enemy with at least 5 stacks of Ichor. Duration scales based on the number of stacks. 2 second cooldown. Augment: On stunning an enemy, consume the stacks of Ichor to deal stacking damage. If this kills a champion, they are immediately revived as an Arcane Doll (if you have at least 1 point in R) E - Death Ray Active: Viktor blasts a target area in a line. (Functionally identical to the original). Augment: The casting beam also deals damage to enemies hit (doesn't stack). R - Of One Mind Passive: Champions (including allies) that die within 1200 units of Viktor become interactable corpses. Viktor can activate them while within a short range, summoning an Arcane Doll. Arcane Dolls gain health and movement speed based on Progress, attack damage and resistances based on Viktor's AP, and attack speed based on Viktor's attack speed. Arcane Dolls will finish combat with their most recent target before taking on a minion AI when Viktor dies. Arcane Dolls slowly regenerate %HP while not taking action. Active: Command all Arcane Dolls. If Viktor doesn't have any, this summons 1/2/3 (plus 1 for every 5 stacks of Progress) and goes on a 60 (+30/20/10 per doll summoned) cooldown.

He seemed almost invincible because his forces were so overwhelming and unpredictable in the show but none of that is reflected in his rework. The "Massive arcane storm" is such BS and it makes me wonder if the devs even watched the show.
