i didn't know that he and the Carters were related until recently. My mind was definitely blown. He didn't treat the majority of his recording artists well. Then his involvement with Miss Ross. I'll tune in to see if I can learn something new.

Oddly, my mother’s father Rev. Richard Blackstone Sr. worked with President Carter in the 1970s. My mother’s nephew is Adam Blackstone (his father is my mother’s half brother) on her father’s side who is multitalented in his own right.

Thanks for the Mr. Berry Gordy Jr., story. So, he is related to former president Mr. Jimmy Carter? Not surprised knowing the history of The United States of America. They need a movie on him. I do recall him being on "Finding Our Roots." Need to revisit the episode. Just thinking, there might not have been a Motown Records if he had kept boxing.🤔 So much great talent came out of Motown Records.

Sir, your documentary is beautiful and to be made with love!!!! Berry Gordy Jr. is my late mother’s 3rd cousin on his late mother Bertha Ida Fuller Gordy’s side and he would be my 4th cousin. Our common ancestor is John Fuller Jr. 1758-1857 who was the grandson of the Mayflower Fullers. Several DNA tests confirmed our cousin connections within a few Gordy cousins who have taken DNA tests. My Jenny Fuller Washington (born 1784) was the daughter of John Fuller and has quite a life story connected to President George Washington’s nephew Supreme Court Justice Bushrod Washington which DNA confirmed. Motown Productions also brought us the following: co produced with George Schaltter/Ed Friendly= TCB special and the G.I.T on Broadway special. co produced with Rankin Bass= The Jackson 5 cartoon. Also the 1971 Diana! special and many more. Later Motown Productions changed to (Suzanne) dePasse Productions, which produced the classic "Sister Sister" with the Mowry Sisters.
