I was born into a Barbershop environment that both parents shared. Parties at 2108 Southwick , were common, frequent, fun and in hindsight molded me. Seeing this video made me feel proud that at one time in my life, I was a part of the magic that makes this diverse group of people come together and create what I watched in this video. Whoo hoo and heck yeah! God Bless Harmony!

I was sitting in the second tier boxes right over the conductor and the wave of sound was amazing. My Sweet Adeline's group loves you guys! And yes I am one of those "Music Teachers" and I do have a quartet for the men as well as the ladies at my school.

My favorite Men's pop chorus in America. I heard/saw this concert live. Vocal Majority was the deciding factor for my attending ACDA that year. A GREAT thrill when Jim Clancy stopped the rehearsal and introduced me to the chorus. They absolutely brought the house down with spontaneous, thundering standing ovation following Joshua! They were electrifying!!!!

I was at this conference in Oklahoma City and they would phenomenal! I have seen many amazing barbershop choruses and men's choirs but there was something different about the Vocal Majority that day. They trumped everything that I thought I knew about men's choral music! Bravo again!

WOW! I'm so glad the ACDA showcased the VM! Maybe some of these Music Teachers will start to use Barbershop to get the guys in their school interested in singing! Barbershop is a beautiful style of Choral Music!

I've been a fan for years, and hardly miss a concert here in the Dallas Area. If you don't see them in person, you don't get the full effect! They can really sweep you off your feet... Get some of their CDs, but see them if you ever get the chance!

@Th3seGuys Don't count on it in most states east of Kansas. My choral director is turned off by the chord progression, and she only ever enjoys it when there is solid overtones chord after chord. Try the song Jenny Rebecca if you want overtones outside of bbs. sing it like you would bbs and see what happens.

Andersen in USA composer ,I supose that you can more beautiful line moving with hand actions or whistles by mouths or taps or knocked by heels or down and upper weaving with singing songs on beautiful decorative artistic stage by yours....you can get much fans by many various beautiful stages of yours,I hope so.

It would be nice if schools actually more actively funded arts programs and such. There is no better way to promote good students than feed their interests. If you cut funding to low-testing schools, won't that just make things worse? Quit shoving these lazyass curriculums down our throats! Our teachers have far more brains and creativity than those fools sitting in Congress. At least Obama is doing well considering what he had to start with. Maybe he'll be smart enough to fix some things.
