I have the same feelings as you do. This is why I spend way too much money on wild bird seed (and fruits and nuts) for the birds that visit my yard. I’m always afraid they’ll struggle to find food and I don’t want that to happen!

@@djosbun I just hope that the birds, which are working hard to survive to protect themselves from predators and the harsh environment, will at least not suffer from starvation.

Marutaro is wonderful, so quiet and how fortunate he came to say hello .(A 1st class photo op).Beautiful feather patterns & he looks healthy , as do the sparrows . The wagtails look fine but I'm bewildered as to what has happened re young. and territory ..Many thanks for your update .Watched twice and enjoyed so much Like 132, 👏🏻☀Many greetings from Berlin🙂

Marutaro is still young and naive, so it is not difficult now to get close to him and capture his beautiful images. It is very cute to see him approaching me defenselessly, but at the same time I am worried. I will miss him gaining alertness and becoming afraid of me, but I hope that he will soon be alert and smart enough to survive in the wild. I believe that Yuki and Hojisuke lost their chicks because they were attacked by predators when they left the nest. This season, there are more crows in this neighborhood than I have ever seen before, and they are raising their young here and there. I have seen them feeding their chicks other birds' chicks many times. I understand that this is their destiny to live in the wild, but I feel sad to think that the chicks of the birds I observe and love for were attacked. I hope Hojisuke and Yuki has built the nest in a different location this time. Territorial fights among wagtails are inevitable. But I love Yuki, Hojisuke, Koyuki and her pertner Fubuki, so I have mixed feelings when I see their territorial fights.😔 Helena thank you always for your comments 🥰 Please have a wonderful weekend😊

@@Sekisuke territorial spots are difficult We have crows here but is the city and they eat anything but young of others. Crows here are scavengers 1st & foremost.. They live next to european wagtails too Saw such the other week..Look on the bright side and watch them return ..♡🖤 Have a glorious weekend and be surprised

The young birds are so cute. Marutaro is like Isomaru, very pushy but also very observant. I hope Yuki is able to hatch her eggs. Koyuki and Fubuki should go somewhere else. 🤨
@SekisukeАй бұрын
I pray that Yuki will be able to raise the chicks successfully until they are on their own this time. I would love to see their chicks, but I will be happy enough to know that both parents and their chicks are safe and sound. As you said, Marutaro looks just like Isomaru 😆 very cute but I may have to deal with his mischievousness in the future😅. I love Koyuki, but yes, I certainly would rather support Yuki's parenting now! Thank you always for your comments and your big support!🥰

Thank you for commenting! Marutaro will be even cooler from now on 😆. I just wish that Yuki and Koyuki share this territory each other. Well, I better forget that.😓
Marutaro would like to sample from the Birdie Buffet, please, but he must mind his manners and be a good bird! Nobody likes a bully bird! I find him to be stunning……babies are such beautiful birds. ❤️🐦
@SekisukeАй бұрын
I like that you said Birdie Buffet! That sound so cute!😆 The birds in your backyard always seem to be a variety of species eating well together. Is that because there is enough food for all birds or It's just there are no bullies? I wish blue rock thrushes would get along better with other birds so we could treat them a little better. But they are big eaters, and I don't think I can provide them with treats that will satisfy them.😅 The other day a chick, younger than Marutaro, visited my yard. They were waiting for their mother to bring them food. I shoot a video of it and thought you'd like it. I'll show you in the next video.😊 Thank you always for your big support!🥰

@@Sekisuke Strangely the only birds that occasionally act like bullies are the Mourning Doves. I might just be due to the sheer amount of seed that I put out but even when most of it is eaten they all seem to get along well (even the Blue Jays).
@SekisukeАй бұрын
@@djosbun In my image, I thought the doves seemed temperate and the blue jays aggressive, but the reality is just the opposite. I like and envy the peaceful behavior of your birds.😊
Thanks for the Video 😊 Sleepy Chuns are nice to watch😴 It must be hard to resist Maru-chibi demanding eyes 😅

Yes, it's really hard! But only for his sake. I would like to give him a treat when he is independent and can forage on his own without any problem and comes around in the winter time when his food supply runs low 😊. Thank you always for your support!

Isomaru and Isomi's boy looks very healthy, as well as the young sparrows! I hope they will be OK during this rainy season, as anything could happen in a flash.
@SekisukeАй бұрын
That's so true. I'm not going to give them treats until they grow up and can stand on their own two feet, but I will make an exception if they're having trouble out there in the bad weather!😊
There was a Wagtail on the court in the third game of the third set at Wimbledon. He caught a bug and flew off. Mustering v Fritz. I am glad I wasn’t fast forwarding or else I would have missed it.

Wow! That's so nice to you to witness that something you didn't expected. It's a very small event, but for us bird lovers, it's very special. I wonder how many bird lovers were riveted by the little wagtail.🤭 Thank you for letting me know the special moment of event!☺

@@Sekisuke The player noticed so he stopped his serve. The cameraman zoomed in so I saw the bug in his beak. Look what spell check did. The Italian player’s name is Musetti.
How do you know that these Wagtails are from the same nestlings batch ? Have you been observing them since they hatch ?
@SekisukeАй бұрын
If you are asking about the sparrow siblings, I can judge them by which of the two mothers there they are following. The chicks chase after mother as fast as they can to get food from her. But there are no wagtail siblings in this video. It is a mother and daughter.😊
How the hay you know who is who? 😆 I still don't know cuz Japan names are too hard to remember 🫢 I wish I could name every of my around 50 Sparrows outside 😂 Only one have name cuz have some white feathers on wings. It's chick born this year. I named it (still idk it's boy or girl so choosed gender neutral name) "Mleczko" what mean milkie in english 😉
@SekisukeАй бұрын
I always take hours worth of video of them and check it daily so I can see their differences. I have been hesitant to update their family tree recently because of the frequent changes of faces in the yard and the fact that they are breeding but not bringing chicks. But I think I need to make their family tree soon and that might help you to know who is who😆 I am wondering how "Mleczko" is pronounced. But I think the name you gave to Sparrow with white feather, Milkie, is very lovely 😊.
@IrbisMountainGhostАй бұрын
@@Sekisuke Still, your ability to recognise them is very impressive 😊 And family tree would be sooo useful 😂 "Mleczko" is pronounced it/its or they/them so can for both genders, cuz chick is still to young to know that is she or he 😅 And I appreciate that you like this name 😊
