It's always a matter of wanting to stop killing, but when groups like Terminus, the Wolves, and the Saviors are who you keep encountering, it's makes it almost impossible.

It's killing the right people for the rights reasons at the right time ideally. Rick, despite his brutality to those who threaten him and his family, does try his best to adhere to that mentality. Though sometimes he needs to let that inner demon take the wheel like when he tore out Joe's throat after one of his goons tried to attack Carl or when they lured Gareth and the remnants of Terminus into the church and violently massacred them for what they were planning to do to them and for what they did to Bob. Carol and Rick also seem to put this burden on themselves more so than others as they feel they can deal with the consequences and want people like Maggie, Glenn, their unborn child, Carl, and Judith to lead more peaceful lives since they are keystones to the future of humanity and also because they are family.

Exactly, i mean what else are they meant to do? Im sure every one of them would prefer to stop killing but most of the time it cant be avoided if they want to live and want their loved ones to live

Melissa McBride is the actress that plays Carol, and imo the best of the show. Her character has grown SO much since season 1. And every step of her growth has been completely believable.

Jesus apparently underestimated The Saviors as well. Rick is confident in his people as he should be. But he didn't even know about the Hilltop, so he's only basing things on what he thinks he knows. I like that he didn't make this decision alone. He took it back to the Alexandrians. After the zombie attack, they are very vulnerable. Again, it was a tough decision, but they were starving.

Kinda Makes sense in a way, they both gave Michelle and Maggie A scene together, Michelle looks Asian, so maybe they were going in the route to have a two asian couple.

I actually liked this episode I find it to be very realistic in some ways (obviously not like with the dead walking around) but about how our characters feel especially Carol She feels guilty about killing and that’s really understandable.

I’m glad you fully understand the main theme of this show. It is basically all about keeping humanity or trying to. Even if that means not killing bad people. All of that is very important even for the rest of the series.

You're right on point when you talk about the morale of the group. And Carol is definitely having trouble with everything now as you can tell. When someone is trying to redeem themselves of something horrible they did and the victims of that act in turn basically kinda do the same thing by killing people in their sleep, who really is right? The two sides will say they are. This was a good episode though.

That was not Aaron’s first kill. When he first met Rick and they asked the questions he said he killed 2 people because they tried to kill him. And there’s also the wolves.

Yep, what our group did in that compound, Negan group can def see them as bad guys from their perspective, but ofc knowing what they also do we know they are not good, but at same time they didn't do anything to us, we here acted as mercenaries for Hilltop.

The feeling of guilt is understandable, but how could you survive without doing what they have done??? If you are passive and don't have enough stuff to give, then other groups will just kill your people and eventually your group will die out. It sucks, but doing what Rick's group has done is the only reason they are still alive.

@@illphil6627 season 1-3 were good though. Season 3 was one of the best seasons of the walking dead universe shows. Season 4 was okay half way in the beginning then fell off. Season 5 was garbage. Season 6 is a little better, haven’t finished yet.
