A: Copyright reasons. Sometimes I get hit with copyright claims AFTER the video has already been posted, my only choice is to refute the claim but if KZbin denies it, I have to either take down the video or mute the small portion they are claiming. If the video has been up for a while, it is much easier for me to mute this small portion in the YT studio and then unmute it months later after people aren't watching the video as much.
Q: Why is the movie not as loud as I want it to be, why can't you show more of it uncut?

Only thing I’d say is that I wasn’t a fan of how Carl and siddiq went out. I get Carls death was sort of a turning point but I feel like they really could have done it another way. And then killing siddiq was kind of just a slap in the face. He represented a lot imo. Carl pretty much sacrificed himself and killing siddiq just added to the issue I had with carls death

Season 2 is the most underrated season! Everyone hated it when it first aired but I loved all the interpersonal drama between the characters and I think it has some of the strongest dialogue in the entire series. The Sophia reveal is arguably one of the most iconic reveals/moments in the entire series and the climax with the hoard at the farm is fantastic. My only complaint is that a couple of the members of Hershel's family are definitely sidelined and killed off like canon fodder.

@@MovieFusion Wasn't expecting a 9, but I love it. I started watching the show the summer after the Negan season six cliffhanger. I had no idea about the cliffhanger or anything, I just knew that the show was really popular and I wanted to understand the hype for it. It instantly became one of my favorite shows and I even started reading the comics. The story, the world, and characters are all so intriguing to me. The thing that sucks the most is that the problems the show as are a result of stuff behind the scenes. If the show sticks the landing, I can see myself giving it a solid 8 or 8.5.

Rick should have killed Negan perhaps in Season 8 midseason finale and Rick could have disappeared at the end of Season 8. The whole Rick vs Negan battle lasted too long with 2 full seasons and nobody was capable to kill Negan no matter how many good chances they got. Besides the actor for Carl Grimes got older in real life faster that events in series happened during Season 7 and Season 8.

Hot take: Season 2 is my favorite season. I don’t think we would’ve liked the characters as much if not for this season because we spent so much time with them and just getting to know them. It’s where they really got established. I haven’t watched the last season yet but I’ve seen every season leading up to it. I considered giving up in 7 but I’ve put way too much time into it to give up now. I’m glad it’s ending because it has been a JOURNEY getting through these 10 seasons and it definitely should’ve ended years ago. AMC burned it to the ground. But!! I am still a fan. I really am and I still like the characters and overall I’m glad I still stuck with it

4B and 5A are amazing in my opinion. Probably my favorite 2 half seasons. I just love how the group was on the road and it was like the Wild West. There were no big wars or groups, it was just them trying to survive in the harsh world of the show. Plus 4B had some of the wildest moments in the show with Rick biting the dude’s throat, Carol telling Lizzie to look at the flowers, Beth being kidnapped out of nowhere, and the cannibal introduction. Idk I enjoy the show even when they’re in a (mostly) safe community with a big group, but that raw story of just trying to survive in the apocalypse and trusting no one other than your core family is peak Walking Dead for me.

Absolutely. It has meme things like Carl eating the pudding or walking along the railroad lines with michonne and Rick, and then super serious incredible episodes like the grove snd of course the awesome finale and premier. Four walls and a roof was also an incredible and has my favorite walking dead scene ever in it; that being Bob laughing like crazy after telling Garett’s group they just ate his leg after he was already bit! It had some really sad moments like Micah and Beth, and some really defining moments like with Tyreese, Glenn and Maggie finding each other, Rick savagely biting a dudes neck and hitting another dude to protect his son, and of course badass Carol! The only thing I didn’t fully like was the hospital arc, but it was something different and took us back to Atlanta and had some really great shots and scenes. And like you said, the pure raw survival aspect of it all was great, From when they were split up to all together being slowly chased by walkers. That time was my absolute favorite and the best of the show

Two things. 1.) Really? The episode with Aaron and Gabriel going through the whole journey to find supplies together and then ending up kidnapped and talking their way out of it, only to kill the guy, was a boring episode? I agree the other four were pretty boring besides maybe 1017 which introduced the reapers and that cute scene with Glenn’s kid for the first time 2.) they were a bonus 6 episodes during covid to hold us over. We could have had nothing but instead we got some extra backstory to characters so that was neat, even if boring

The first six seasons are all must watch. You can either stop there or, if you can somehow get through season 7 and 8, finish it off. However after season 6 it’s a slow downhill slope.

Season 1-2-3 is constant upward, the peak of the show is 4-5-6 from there downhill 7-8 to the point is an achivement to not drop the show, 9 managed to somehow save it, 10-11 gets comfy and falls again till 11B where it stops dropping and maybe 11C goes up again lol

@@streetfightervsxenoverse1832 For me top 5 is: 4-2-5-1-6 (honor mention to 9 because it saved the show and bringed back the old feel while being original) Im not a fan of season 3, first episodes are awesome but the rest feels like filler to get to the problems in season 4... also the final episode with the dark battle and all the Andrea stuff it's really bad IMO lol Andrea it's like a bad writen Carol... in the beggining you felt weird with Carol and see her as weak in this world (not her fault obviously) and as the show goes you start to see this woman turn into a savage badass and it's awesome. With Andrea it starts bad, then in season 2 you are like (wtf happens with this girl), in season 3 it gets worse with all that plot with the Governor and in the end she ends in the most boring way possible and her character gets dumped and forgotten (i get that they wanted to give Michonne her part but my god it wasn't neccesary to make her that bad and make a whole arc about it.)

For me the earlier seasons 1-5 are probably my favorite, but the later seasons have some great stuff as well. We in the home stretch now I can't wait to see how the show ends hopefully it finishes strong and goes out with a big bang.

I got bored with Walking Dead after season 2 but I started the show again when they made if to Alexandria and the whole tone of the show shifted significantly from "zombie survival" to "post apocalypse rebuilding" and I was totally in love with it during that timeframe.

Nice to see someone that likes S8 that much, even tho I disagree for the most part. Now here's my ranking, which as is a bit on the long side: 22: 8A, A bit disappointing to me, tho it does have some cool moments here and there. 21: 9B, I don't know what, but something is just keeping me from liking this part of this season. On rewatches it's a bit of a slog to get through for me, tho it does have some cool moments. 20: 8B, A wast improvement over 8A, 8x14 is one of my favorite episodes from the show, but the half season still has something missing to place it higher on the ranking. 19: 7B, A pretty decent and underrated half season, tho it could've been much better. 18: 10A, I loved the "Cold War" feel that differentiated the Whisperer War from the All Out War, other than that it ranged from decent to good. 17: 5A, Episodes 1-3 are brilliant, but the hospital arc really drags this half season down by quite a bit. 16: 2A, While I do think this slower paced and character building half season was needed, it's a bit too slow but still good half season. 15: S1, A great introduction to the show, but like you said, there's not that many iconic or really memorable moments. 14: 3A, The introduction of the Prison and the Governor were really cool, but at times it's a bit slow, still a good half season nontheless. 13: 10C, My really unpopular opinion. Only episode that was meh was 10x21 other than that I really enjoyed all of the episodes and loved 10x22 and 10x19. 12: 10B, I really liked how they handled the Whisperer War, the battles were awesome and there were some amazing moments. Unlike most, I didn't need a big fight between Beta and Negan and think that Beta's death was beatifully done. 11: 9A, I love the bridge arc and wish that the entire season had the feeling that those episodes had, I really dislike the big time jump and I wish we got to see how people reacted to losing Rick more that the small snippets that we got. 10: 7A, An extremely underrated half season, loved everything about Negan and the Saviors and really liked that the half season was really different from the previous seasons. 9: 3B, I really like the small scale war against the Governor and Woodbury, and loved the episode with Morgan. Not much else to say, just an amazing half season. 8: 11A, One of the most rewatchable half seasons for me. While many didn't, I really liked the Reapers and thought that they were a great smaller scale villain group. Didn't think that I would've, but I loved everything about the Commonwealth and this season has just felt like classic TWD again. 7: 5B, Other than 5x9 and 5x10, this half season is incredible. The introdcution to Alexandria was amazingly done, and I loved the parrarels between S5 Rick and S2 Shane. Just an amazing half season all around. 6: 2B, Really awesome half season with Shane as a highlight to me. The whole wibe of this half season was amazing, and really set up the "no one is safe" feeling for seasons going forward. Some of the most iconic moments are from 2B, just an amazing half season. 5: 11B, Really loved this whole half season, and it really feels like classic TWD again. Starting with the last battle against the Reapers and with the rest of the "half" season focusing on the Commonwealth, it hasn't had a dull moment. Hornsby and Mercer have been some of the best characters that the show has ever had, and some of the old characters that had become a bit stale have felt better than they have in years. Hopefully 11C is going to be just as good, if not better than 11B. 4: 4A, Love the flu arc, tho I don't really care for the two Governor episodes and I wish that they had been rolled into one episode. Other than those two episodes, the half season is legendary especially with "Too Far Gone" included. 3: 6B, Amazing half season. Loved the introduction to the larger world with the Hilltop and the Saviors. The attack to the satellite station might be one of, if not the best, action pieces the show has had and the finale is just legendary, even with the infamous cliffhanger that I personally didn't/don't mind. Also "No Way Out" is in this half of the season, which is just an another legendary episode. 2: 4B, The aftermath of the Governor's attack on the Prison and the road to Terminus. One of the best strech of episodes that the show has, so many iconic moments happen while they are on the road, plus Rick gets his legendary murder jacket in this half season. 1: 6A, My personal favorite strech of episodes the show has. I love the transition perioid from the constant struggle survival to the larger world, and what better way to transition to the new era than with a massive horde of walkers! Love everything about this half season, yes I even like the Glenn dumpster incident. The small hints to the larger world out there that keeps popping up here and there were awesome, plus we get some of the best Rick moments this half season. A legendary half season, that just pure awesomeness all around.

My favorite characters are Morgan and Carol. Gosh their dynamic and clash was amazingly written and the actors did a phenomenal job portraying light and dark… the yin and yang of the walking dead! Now Negan and Maggie is also up there!

I first started the show around season 4, not really knowing the back story, then eventually rewatched the entire show. Y'all season 1, 4, 5 & 6 are arguably the best. S1 is a classic, it sets the tone well. S6 was peak drama and character development. Rick no longer doubts himself, him & Michonne get together romantically, the group takes over Alexandria & finally have a place to call home. S7 is a bit chaotic, sadly the writing gets a little pitiful after S9, in S10 it's like the writers had to create unnecessary problems just for the characters to have something to do.

Nothing will top Season's 3&4, and you will never change my mind. The whole prison arc - which spanned over 10+(??) Issues was spread out in a Season and a half worth of content; and not a single moment was dull. To this day I still miss David Morrissey's performance. Be brought a sense of dread only matched by Negan in the later Season's.

Love the way you just jumped over Rick and Michonne finally getting together in 6:10. I loved 7:12 because Rick and Michonne out for a few days on a honeymoon and coming back with the best food, supply weapon hall in TWD history to date. Their walker fighting and deaths was the biggest count for just two characters in the history of TWD to date. They took down every walker at that carnival. Carls death was worthwhile impactful based on his developed compassion and humanity. I love season 9 for all the reasons you do and more. I thought Carol was super clever using Negan for the win because I was sick of the Whisperers for killing Jesus and all the other characters major or minor and the pikes. Most fans have never read the comics and love the show! Um caves are dark. Michonne’s episode was epic and the key to finding Rick. Negan’s episode was fire 🔥 I and explained his personality so well. I loved Connie’s horror episode. The people in the house was a family that resorted to animalistic insanity. Loved 11 A and 11B for different reasons. Comparing the TV series to the comics gives you too many observations and expectations. It limits your ability to just enjoy the story, acting 🎭 and creativity overall.

I think I actually don’t mind Tara being on the pikes - she didn’t do too much for a while, but she had a good leadership arc and was more fleshed out in season 9 I think - her best besides her introductory season I think. I was actually more disgruntled by Enid as I felt she was actually becoming a better character as she was older after Carl - but then they kinda cut her short bc they clearly didn’t know what to do with her outside of ‘love interest’. I’ll say it’s at least nice they gave it a bit more attention with Siddiq’s guilt in season 10.

As someone who has watched this show since season 2 on air weekly I definitely recommend that this show is way better when binged watched then watched weekly. Most of the episodes are more worth it when you watch the show all at once, when it comes to the boring episodes i found that it wasn’t worth my time watching it on air every Sunday. In the beginning it was good watching it weekly but after season 5 it’s best to just binge watch it since some of the episodes are boring or slow. I cannot believe that this show is coming to an end, been around for 10 years watching as a fan

Always interesting to see peoples rankings. For me I loved seasons 1-5 and 6 was the season that although I thought it was good, took me out of it a bit. This is where I think things got a bit goofy and they started relying on some characters I didn’t think clicked that well for me. I thought Denise’s death was pretty idiotic, even the fact that they’d allow her to go on that mission flies contrary to all logic in the show. Morgan became so one note I could barely stand him, the Glenn fake out stuff was goofy, I didn’t buy that Denise could help Karl with a gunshot wound to the eye since she’s not a doctor, and the huge Alexandria fight ended up where all these civilians who have no idea how fight or defend themselves are all killing hundreds of walkers with no casualties on their side.

I think the last episode of Season 4 on the DVD Rick says, "they're fucking with the wrong people." FOr me, the show started really going down the hill about halfway through Season 6. When they decided to make Carol weak that was a huge mistake. She started as a character basically afraid of her own shadow and convincingly built her up to a bad ass. But in a matter of a few episodes, they decide to give her an overbearing conscience. Why? No one else goes through that and most of them had to kill all sorts of bad people. TO this day, my favorite episode is Season 5, Episode 1: No Sanctuary. It starts out as such a grim episode but then ends on a high note, the group reuniting, Carol rejoins making Daryl cry, Tyreese and Sasha find out each other are still alive, and Rick and Carl get to find out Judith is not dead.

And I’m really enjoying s11 I think 11B or part 2 have been good. The intention for the Glenn fake out death was to make the audience unsure if he’s dead just like Maggie was unsure. It connects the audience with Maggie. It’s not the same situation with the POV Negan kill! Season 6 should’ve ended showing Glenn’s brutal iconic death without Abraham dying. Eugene is definitely my favourite character in the entire show, so you probably can tell what I think about season 8. However, his redemption at the end made me really happy. I just wish his character was a little less dickish beforehand. I mean, even when Rosita and Daryl captured him they didn't hint that he was going to go back to the good side.

The amount of willpower it took me to go through season 11 is unreal. They dragged it out so much and some episodes were so boring it took me 3 or 4 tries just to finish them. Also, I don't like it when they're trying to force these tense moments like "is maggie gonna be ok?" "is daryl gonna be ok?", when we all know they're going to survive, since spinoffs were already announced. That ruined all the fun for me. So that fight between Maggie and Leah was so lame for me, the only thing I liked is that Daryl was the one that killed her.

I know my opinion isn't popular, but my favorite season is season 6. The wolves attacking Alexandrina gets it off to a great start Nicholas' death was a crazy scene, the horde getting into Alexandrea leading to one of the best episodes of the show "No Way Out". We Get to see the badass survivor version of Rick again while attacking the saviors and of course the suspenseful build up to the introduction of Negan. I also think that "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be" is possibly the most well made episode in the show. I hated the cliffhanger at the end of season six and if theey somehow combined the two episodes into the season six finale there would be zero doubt in my mind about it being the best season.

One thing I would do different in my rankings that you didn't do was reflect on important character introductions. Foe example, Eugene's introduction in 4b would push it higher on my ranking because how impactful and great his development is throughout the show. I wish you would have considered certain characters and their storylines because I feel like that should impact the rankings of each seasons not just the plot points.

I usually don't talk how I feel 'bout season 8 since it is considered the worst season, I think that falls to season 7A because they killed two beloved characters where neither should have died and the one episode with Tara and Heath was the worst episode in the series or S7E6. The only dialogue I didn’t like was maybe some of monologues from like Ezekiel. I know that’s part of his character but they spent so much time in some of those earlier episodes of him monologuing about stuff that I doubt most people understood lol. And Eugene’s dialogue was probably at its goofiest point in this season too. But other than that I thought it was fine. Not the most organic dialogue in the series but it works.

Great rankings and insight. SPlitting up by half-season makes very uneven seasons like 2 and 3 easier to rank. Agree with a lot of your rankings. 5A, ouch man! :-) Understand your reasoning tho. S5 and S6 are real similar in that the A halves have the more explosive stuff but the B halves have it in consistency. Oh man, S3B, Mazarra destroyed Andrea's character and in a seemingly ill-thought decision, offed her in the finale for shock value. 3B = C territory for me, Andrea's fate make 313 and 314 unwatchable by extension (and then there's all the thrown-away tension that coulda taken place fighting in the tombs in the finale). 4A "S" -- YES. The arc of this half season is masterful. How quickly Gimple got trampled on starting around 2017-2018. He helmed the show starting in its most popular phase, gave us the best three seasons of the show, and the period of most fans' favorite characters all being on screen and at peak form. Chandler Riggs' best acting came in S4 (sidelined soon after for quite a while) and Yeun's much-improved (incredible i think) acting started around the same time in S4 and continued to his end. Like you I appreciate 4B more than most, and while 412 and 413 bring the season down.... 414 and 416 (the latter remains the series' most underrated ep, if still appreciated) probably put it in "A" territory for me. Pun intended. Love the mystery of terminus (again which Gimple set up by what, 403? So good) - e.g. the paintings in 410 etc. S9 is solid (902-903 underrated stuff), def up there w/ 4-5-6. Not as big on S7 S8 but agree 8B is the most consistent half-season of TV among the two seasons. Some tweaks to common sensical things in 813 coulda made it an incredible classic episode. lol @ 51:57 damn the actor who played Pope was chewing on scenery and not in a good way. wtf was that accent? gibberish mixed w/ cockney?
