Michonne will not give up even with Rick trying to do the right think in his eyes. Half way done, 3 more to go!!! It's only going to get more intense!!!

I was worried with GIMPLE in charge but with Fear, Tales and WB done and gone now we have Dead City & Daryl Dixon and now this phenomenal series I think he has got the Franchise back on track. I hope this series is not limited, there is no way...right? The CRM story seems too big to tackle in 3 episodes. my guess is Thorne and Jadis will be gloriously killed and we will deal with CRM later seasons or series. I hope Michonne is the one to kill Jadis and Rick kills Thorne. BUT NO MATTER WHAT IT IS TIME FOR JADIS TO GET HERS!!!

I'm not sure if you understand she said their _loved ones are _*_NOT_*_ lost; it is they (she & Rick) who are lost._ She's from the 'African Coast', she CANNOT get back home while Rick IS HOME, so to speak but can't escape. It's just that the way you're quoting her is a bit confusing.

I think Thorne is jealous of Michonne. Not because of Rick, but because she could be a threat to her position in the CRM. She sees that Michonne could easily take her spot.

People keep forgetting about the beginning of thr Negan saga. Rick was broken. He was scared. He didn't want to fight. Michonne did. She gave him attitude. She kept a rifle and practiced with it and went hunting. Rick literally took the gun and her deer and gave it to Negan. He didn't want anyone else to die especially her. She was pissed. But she convinced him that they needed to work together and fight Negan. They couldn't do it alone. He listened and they came up with the plan. This is that plot only the stakes are much higher. So yes Rick has been broken and submissive before because his family is thr most important thing to him, not his own ego or pride. It wasn't the Governor or The Terminus cannibals that did it. It was Negan. And now, the CRM is the most formidable thing they've ever faced. But they have to do it together. That's the theme of the series.

I didn't forget. But also remember, Rick's overall vision is about the future. He will sacrifice himself for a better future for his kids. He has said it. And he said it when they were scavenging for Negan. He always comes back...he just needs a little nudge. I think episode 4 will be that nudge.

She knew the mission was accomplished not because of her but because of the quick decision of Michonne. Otherwise, the mission given to her would have failed.

​@@jLachelle3 Thorne is not an A. Her retelling of the story on how Okafor found her proves it. She was sitting, smoking a cigarette when Okafor landed. Told him to leave her to die. A types don't give up so easily. Her alcoholism proves that she has a wealth of insecurities she's trying to hide. She needs Rick to help her kept her A appearance as they rise up in leadership. She's not jealous of Michonne because of romantic feelings for Rick. But her attachment to him is for her own well-being in the CRM.

You mention her alcoholism, but episode 3 shows bottles in Ricks room he drinks as well. I don’t think all As are the same. She can be an A, just not in the way that Rick and Michonne are.

@@jLachelle3 there is a difference between being rescued & deciding to leave on your own accord. Big difference. The fact that Thorne never tried to leave shows she's not a type A. Even by her own definition she's not a type A. She told Michonne that she's the type that wouldn't farm but be asking questions. Thorne doesn't ask any questions. She just takes handouts. First from Okafor & switched to Beale in a nanosecond. She doesn't have her own moral compass like Rick & Michonne has. She the lady sleeping in the tree eating crickets. Rick is her knows shit person.

It's bc she's ambitious & wants to move up & Michonne not only being an A but clearly being an A that won't bend, it jeopardizes her position. She already said "I can't have her bring me down" while making her the responsibility of Rick

Plus Lesley-Ann Brandt has said on her Twitter and in interviews that it’s not jealousy. That Thorne isn’t jealous of Michonne or has a thing for Rick. She said she would not take the role if it was something like that. Not jealous of Michonne. And it’s only platonic between her and Rick.

She was also willing to kill Rick way too easy & prior to actually trying to she had no problem letting him know she would multiple times. Everything including her relationship w/ Rick felt like & indicated self preservation & strengthening her position. She was close to him but only bc he served a purpose, she'd get further w/ him than w/o. But if she couldn't work w/him she'd get further killing him than not. Her relationship was w/ the CRM not Rick per se. But that's just how I saw it

Another really good episode! You understand why Rick is acting that way, it’s to protect Michonne, Judith and everyone at Alexandria. Thorne is officially a villain. She tried pulling a Shane. That ending was wild. Very hyped for the next episode. Also, I think when Michonne found the artist who drew on the phones, it showed her that Rick never forgot about them or gave up going back home... just couldn't. This is peak Walking Dead.

That is what Jadis did to Heath, in season 7 episode 6 when Tara and Heath were looking for supplies, Heart disappeared, in season 7 episode 10 in the junkyard there was a camper RV the same one that Tara and Heath had and on Talking Dead it was confirmed that the RV the Jadis was driving in season 9 episode 5 was the same RV, also it was confirmed that Heath was traded to the CRM for supplies and he most likely is dead or Alive

I loved the tension building from the start of the episode. The longer they are together in the Civic Republic the higher the risk of them being found out. With Jadis, Thorne and Beale on Rick’s case and him trying to keep Michonne and the people back home safe, the pressure intensifies. Rick is torn, he knows he can’t leave without risking the lives of everyone he loves. The final scene when the pot has truly boiled over, Michonne pulling them out of the helicopter makes sense, she knows in that moment there is no other way. I look forward to next weeks reaction. Thank you for your reaction. Enjoyed every moment.

@DarylDixonTHEGOAT I've been with TWD since 2010 Halloween. Day one fan basically. And it got me in to the comics deeply. But even now I stand by what I said. After season 10 the show did dip in quality. All around. And the series finale should have been this with Rick. They fumbled it hard. So after that I stopped watching and didn't care for the spinoffs. But if their bringing Rick back finally and doing it right, hell yeah I'm going to come back. Andrew Lincoln made that show. It's just further proof that this should have been the finale to the main show. Look at all the fans coming back. For one character. Cause that character is so good.

Thorne is a hypocrite and a hater. Rick told her Dana/Michonne was an A. So she knew and it was her decision to bring Dana/Michonne to Portland but she blamed Rick cause she got showed up as weak and not a leader. Thorne at this point needs to just shut up and sit down. I think Beale was being tactical by giving her the promotion instead of Rick.

Partially agreed. I think Beale was strategic in promoting Thorne, but wanted to test her and see how she reacted to it. I think once she got that briefing, she was essentially scared and not prepared for that kind of leadership - she kept noting that she's "not Ofgalfore," which I think is a point of uncertainty and doubting that she could do what he did. And then with Michonne going off grid, she just feels threatened. But all of it, I feel, is Ogalfore testing both Rick and Throne - and I'm still wondering if maybe Beale could have a different motivation/overall plan for everything.

Nat had materials on his wagon. Didn’t Rick take the wagon when he took Michonne’s katana and journal/phone? If so, all they need is gas or oil, I think he said. I do think the purple gas and weapon is Checkov’s gun. So we will see it used later

Loved the Shane edit 😂 I cannot wait for these last few episodes. It's going to get CRAZY, I know it. Episode 4 is supposed to be so good, Danai wrote and was a showrunner for it I believe. The only other time Rick felt he had to submit is when Negan killed Glenn and Abraham.Then he became afraid just like he is Now he couldn't see it before and it took Michone and Carl to help him see ..then they went to Maggie. Thorn wanted to kill Michone because Michone is an A. She is a leader. They kill leaders.

When Rick says he's gonna kill you, he means it so you have to do something to redeem yourself. So Jadis will either flip Rick's side or die. Also, how was Rick about to get promoted if Beale suspects him. That piece isn't quite making sense to me.

Grimes 68…the record for kills at the facility. There's also so much open at this point that it could really go in any direction. I'm thinking Jadis and/or Thorne get taken out. That some kind of attack or rebellion happens at the Summit with CRM leadership there, and maybe that's where Rick shows his true colors to some extent... but also, maybe he saves Beale or something, while also taking out Thorne/Jadis in some effort to get done what needs to. And maybe that could be the start of convincing Beale that "people are a resource," that maybe the A and B system is flawed.

I am watching Shogun and wow although it is different type of show it is also great! Very different from the original show!

Thorne was about to kill Michonne, because she's an A and coul'dn't be controlled. Plus, Michonne could get her killed by being a liability. What did Thorne mean by what she said at the stadium? She said she knows why they're there. Kind of confusing. Does she know that Michonne is Rick's wife, or does she think Rick is using Michonne to carry out Okafor's plan? She said she's not Okafor.

What was the CRM soldier that took off in Fear? Was it Alie? Was that her note written in the ground? Jadis said Rick and Michonne would be the first to escape but that doesn't seem true. There's a whole reclamation team already.

Thorne said she didnt agree with everything Okafur said, it doesn’t mean that she is completely against his original idea of changing the CRM from the inside. But obv whatever Beale showed her about the briefing has gotten her attention. I’m not sure what to think. We already have a villain in Jadis and Beale, so do we need Thorne to be one also? They need some allies!! Haha And I’m really worried about Michonne but killing her would be repetitive in a way bec Rick already lost one wife, why does he have to lose another? He also lost a son & what good is it if he never sees that son? I’m spinning out a bit lmao, I’ve been waiting 13+ years for an endgame and certain reunions & I fear I’m not going to get what I want. What a lot of us want actually. There are only 3 episodes left. How do you wrap up the Richonne love story and this CRM stuff in 3 episodes? And have the reunions we all want and need?!?! They are only like 47 mins episodes or something like that. Dont get me wrong the show has been great so far but im really beginning to worry about the future of TWDU bec Rick and Michonne will not be in it so how can you possibly get the reunions?!? 😢
