I know everyone wasn’t a huge fan of Tales of TWD but there are also a lot of people who absolutely loved the originality of it. I am DEF one of them!!! Though, I agree that I would love for them to also focus on backstories like they did with Alpha. They should keep the show a mixed bag-keep it fun and unexpected!!!

Nah the tales series was utter garbage in my opinion. I wanted to like it and was excited when I heard about it. But when it came to watching it I struggled to get through the episodes.

I love this idea BUT sign language is actually different everywhere! LSF is used in France. FUN FACT: American Sign Language actually has its roots in LSF! However, users would not be able to easily communicate since they are actually different languages.

It seems prettty clear Norman was talking about a reset to "unestablished cast". As in S1 group, everyone is a stranger, dynamics are fluid, not set in stone. Daryl is part of a group. He's an outsider. A stranger in a strange land. He's not part of a community anymore its back to basics.

i hope he meant starting with a small group and building from there instead of changing the lore and knowledge we already know like adding walkers that fly or something as crazy as that, as far as reading it will be very hard for me because of how long they are up for and if i don't pause in time because that is what i have to do

I have auditory processing disorder. So, I ALWAYS have the subtitles on anyways. It seems like it would be difficult to adjust to that format but really after a bit it becomes just part of the viewing experience!!

I feel like the "reset" comment is more about getting back to basics...smaller cast, dire situations, initial confusion etc. Very much looking forward to Madison in FEAR! It's been a long time coming. Hopefully Chambliss & Goldberg took the time during season 7 (since they obviously didn't have a story there) to write a story that's worth her return!

Well I'm done. TWD Commonwealth ending was a dud. The story lacks narrative sense. Basically killed off Sebastian then Lance with an arrow and then locked up Pamela and now a reboot just didn't cut it. Tales was a bust. So far only Fear left so I'll still watch that but I'm done after that. I might check out Rick and Michonne if reviews are good but TWD has been running on fumes.

It's a totally new environment, language, the hunting and foraging will be different, locations, places that could be useful.. It is a total reset...everything is new...

In my opinion Scott Kimble is full of it. He has been trying to make The Walking Dead like Game of thrones which is a big no no no. I think he shouldn’t say it was a reset, but that we would see a new adventure or a new world in the country of France since World Beyond had the virus originated in france, new factions, new lore, new characters, new settlements, new big bad villians. So yeah I think someday the walking dead will either move on to films after all the tv shows or maybe get a reboot possibly not saying it will or it should but it’s a possibility and I’m fine if they did that but I think maybe they should animate it and make it more like the comic books maybe. Idk but it would be interesting, I’m hoping Scott Kimble gets removed soon since he ruined season 5,6,7, and 8. He’s also ruined Fear the Walking Dead, and he’s gonna do the same thing with every other spin-offs of the walking dead because he’s been trying to make the Walking Dead like game of thrones like again that’s a big no no.

From what I gather. Norman is talking about a reset in terms of going back to a small group. Cast and crew. I really don't want Negan being a hallucination. That means something messed up went down.

yeah - the reset is just that I think. I agree some stills/frames make it look like Negan is just 'there' but not there - but then other frames are like "he is totally really there" "Something Messed Up Went Down" - a good song title

It's already confirmed that they plan for the Rick & Michonne show to get multiple seasons, which i'm all for. Dead City they have really sold on the premise so i can see it go for multiple seasons for sure. Now that the first pictures are released, i have to admit i am more intrigued for the Daryl show. And now that Madison is back, i'm actually looking forward to season 8 of Fear more than before.
