1:59 Ham's timbre. How he was able to completely cut through that live brass like it's butter. 🫠 His vowel shapes. The slight rasp in his voice and he stretched out his vowels just enough to sound so classic. 🫠

How am I 46-years-old, a music snob and yet, completely missed the boat on The Walkman for the past two decades. Just my favorite band right now, just every album, every song seemingly thought provoking, beautiful, every listen worth another listen, and with that, I discover something new and profound. So mad at myself for the concerts I should have been at. I've never heard a voice like Ham's-the ability to scream scratch and yet be operatic and pleasant at the same time. Incredible. I listened to Heaven today on my run outside 10 times in a row...what a masterpiece

Everytime I listen to their songs, I imagine myself in New York, studying at a college dorm. My speaker playing their songs, and I'm nodding my head to the beat while I'm writing an essay or something.

I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve listened to this song, especially this version. It’s just so good

Saw them play this live last week. When the instrumentals swell at the end I swear I lost my mind.
