Honestly war thunder has one of the worst battlepasses ive ever seen. Mediocre rewards for an insane grind. And its not just to play a lot like the event vehicles, you have to get specific medals, play specific gamemodes, and use things you dont want to. Destroy a specified number player vehicles while controlling vehicles of 4 different ranks from ranks 3 to 8... so if you are new player and dont have rank up to 7 you are screwed but yea yea "PrEttY MuCh JusT PlyAing NorMallY" or destroy 3players using strike aircraft 5 times in another BP season sure bro becouse every nation and have tons of strike aircraft in every lineup and players are going to complete it without even noticing or putting in an effort lol and in that new BP set enemy on fire 80 times EZ destroy 3 enemys while driving bomber again EZ thats all what I DO drive bomber every match :D just becouse you are obviously PRO at WT doesnt mean all players are and they dont have to GRIND challenges instead of just having fun while paying this game whats the point then?

Not a fan of the bombers but I got all my crews maxed to level 75 so the gunners do take out quite a few planes just flying around...got 8 kills the other day in a rank 3 battle.

I tried it out in AirSB. While i did get to my objective, making it back was a gamble cause in AirSB the more you go up in br the more freakier the players get and since it sits at super-props br range, i was getting air backshots on my way back to the airfield. I got humbled by a Tempest 40mm.

Completely agree, if you're going to do the boxes in the battlepass for old vehicles, allow the players to choose what vehicle they want, put 4 really good vehicles in the box, and let the player decide what they want. I don't have any of the ground vehicles in this upcoming box simply because I had to take a long break from War Thunder due to medical issues. I mostly play US, I would really enjoy the T55E1, the other vehicles are from trees I rarely play, and knowing how these things go, I'll probably get the stupid Todi which I will never touch. Frankly we need to hold yhe dev's feet to the fire again.

This game sucks in terms of F2P. If you are a player who plays not that much - you either have to pay a lot or get nothing. All these battle (p)asses are timed the way that you can't do it without grinding. It also doesn't save any progress between them, so if you can't spend more time in game - all you do is monkey business. And if you pay - you get this bs with gambling, you still have to play the game because you invested the money in a game and now you are kinda obligated to play, which actually suck out the fun from game. All that stuf was intentionally made to maximize the profit and reduce rewards - to just keep the grinding.

Now imagine us, console players, we don't even get to sell the crates that we get on the market because they still didn't implemented it. Also, my account is bugged, I can't bind any email account to it, I'm currently waiting to delete the WT Mobile account I had (which btw had those reward vehicles that has that unique skin in the normal WT) so it's fair to say that I spent more than a month trying to get the rewards I earned. If it is still isn't working for my main account for my main email address I'll genuenly cry.

I strongly disagree. I think if you don't care about premium vehicles, top tier grind, etc. You can just enjoy yourself in Low/Mid Tier. You can get a 4.0-4.7 lineup in a weekend. Spend some GE on premium account if you really want to grind something out. But don't fall for BS top tier marketing, premium vehicle rewards and other nonsense that robs you of your enjoyment.

Console players are absolutely fucked over since the ONLY way to get event vehicles is to gamble for them at a HIGHER price than PC players. The average key price on PC sits are $2.50. On Console it's 600 GE, so $4 plus tax.

Off topic but I feel like war thunder should specify a little more of when the pass ends. The last battlepass ended on October 23rd at 8:00. It didn’t specify whether it was PM or AM so I figured “Oh, I’ll buy the remaining tiers for the sholef after school” (I had two tiers left). I get home, look at the pass and I missed it. I was really disappointed that I missed out on the Sholef and I feel like war thunder should specify more precisely

I was thinking of buying the BP this season. Passed (pardon the pun) on the last one as there was nothing of interest there for me and I'd rather not put myself through the stress of FOMO for a vehicle that I have no interest in playing. But this BP is definitely the worst. No new or decent ground vehicle and only the chance to get a random low tier derp tank? No thanks I'll save the GE. I feel that the BP is really running out of steam at this point. Perhaps its time they radically overhauled it as at the moment its just not worth it.

I thought surely for the last BP of the year they would bring their A game or at least an early jet like Strikemaster but nope, an RP pinata bomber that will face jets in air, HE-VT in ground, a copypasta boat nobody will give 2 shits about, and a box that will give me a 50/50 shot of getting stuck with the useless Toldi which will never be driven as I have Turan II and its great HEAT shell. I feel like the constant monthly events kinda made the battle pass useless. Monthy events are free to grind ( for now atleast) Along with the vehicle, you get 2 decals, a cammo, and 4 free modifications. Along with a profile picture. Compared to the battle pass where it has the same stuff as the monthly events, but you have to pay for it. They could have added the random loot box at the end of the battle pass where all the dead space is and still give us 3 vehicles.

I use to enjoy enlisted as well I personally did not like that the game was turning into War Thunder with the amount of vehicles that where added. I played the game for the infantry aspect it's not fun having players plane cycle or gray zone camp with a tiger 2 and even if you destroy them they can come right back in another tank/plane.

Speaking of the gacha system wt's less popular sibling WTM, has this gacha draw system instead of using the battlepass to get a "unique" vehicle each season. A total of 40 something draws are needed to get the guaranteed jackpot reward. BUT one of the rewards is either the unique tank itself, or a stupid nickname frame. So once you complete all the draws needed, you'll either get the tank or the nickname frame which would be very depressing.

What's even worse - BP bomber is just a straight copy of one from tech tree. But that one have Fritz-X early guided bombs and new one will have another kind of an early guided bombs, which actually sucks and literally no one uses them because it have zero sense. They actually can just add that bombs to already existing plane - Do.217 K-1 and just rename it as Do.217 K-2 or K-3, because that planes only differs by their internal hardware and looks totally same from the outside. But no, instead they decided to do Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V and make it a "unique" event vehicle. Just skip this BP completely, no point of grinding it or paying for it. Absolutely not worth it.

I have all the vehicles in the loot box they have on offer. I already have 3 Omaha class cruisers, one from the battlepass (The USS Detroit, I'm from Detroit so I had to have it) and a plane that's unchanged from the tech tree except having a keyboard guided missile along with the guided bomb it already has. It's easily the most useless battlepass. I won't be getting it, first one I won't have.

I havent played the current battlepass because I was not interested in the sholef and we got a fat bomber instead of a good fighter/interceptor Now we get an even worse battlepass... if they gave the T55E1 I would probably play it, but I wont take a gamble with all these low tier vehicles (I refuse to play that low) and the main reward is another bomber... a very slow 6.0+ twin prop bomber with 2 or 3 guided rockets I'll probably wont even get more premium time on sale since I wont play for ~4 months again

I think they are planning to get rid of BP and they are making it 💩 so that they will have less grief when it is finally canceled. I mean look at the facts...they can make a lot more money on high tier premiums, BP requires WWII vehicles which Gaijin hasn't dedicated real time to WWII vehicles in a while, and finally you used to get 5 BP points per log in for the last 10 days so those close to 125 could get over the hump, they have cut that down to just 2 days of 5 point log ins. So yeah I think they jumped on Battle Passes when they were all the craze but just like their experiments with World War Mode and PUBG style shrinking battlefield they have realized it isn't a big money maker so they will make it as trash and lazy as possible so in 6 months or so when they say "This will be the last Battle Pass" nobody in the community will care.

Honestly BP going from 4 vehicles to 2 + RNG lootbox is so ass, it literally is Gaijin spitting on their customer's face. Plus these vehicles have been so bad it doesn't even get you excited to grind the BP, let alone buy it for them. For starters, we should have at least 1 vehicle of each type (air, ground and naval). Also, the lootbox should be made into a selector - paying for RNG should be criminal lmfao. And also, place it at level 14 (or whatever it was the level we had the 4th vehicle in the past) and include all vehicles of previous seasons (even if there was a thing like you can't have the ones from the literal previous BP but from say, 2 seasons back). The more time passes, the less value it gets. I just wish I hadn't sunk so much time into the game.

Shrinkonomics has the ability to make us grumble then grudgingly carry on which leads to more and more shrinkonomics until they just can't get away with it any more because they are literally offering nothing. Yes, the base of the problem starts with greedy business acts but we also share a bit of the blame for not acting against it. I would suggest that genuine action is needed in the same way as people took a stand with the boycott and negative steam reviews. It's the only way they listen. And yourself included as a content creator needs to work together with other content creators to help to push that change. And just for an extra grumble... If I had all those tanks (unfortunately the only one I don't is the crappy one) then what kind of compensation is 100k silver lions? I can make more than that in one match! And the wager? Hell! You know the minute you use it, the odds are gonna be stacked against you and you'll probably get thrown into lousy teams regardless of how hard you try to carry the match. In the end, if you did have all the vehicles then they should just give you a straight 1k Golden eagles back as you are only getting 2 copy paste vehicles and grinding filled with resentment for it. That snail needs a kick up the arse and only we can do it.

So, to summarise, a lackluster CL for Russia for the worst & least interesting game mode that, by numbers, not even 1% of players care about. A german bomber which will have its biggest utility in the same mode. And a random box with 2 decent, 1 meme, and 1 stinker ground vehicles. Basically, 2, potentially 3 reasons to play this one: getting the bush from BP Shop, getting next BP free, and potentially, BP Shop premiums have something worthwhile. I don't count a chance for a T55E1 or 251/22 as a good enough reason.

Not a fan of the double copy+ paste(+guided rocket bomb) level 51 reward is still a level 51 premium and gaijin did leave a whole vehicle class out for the free reward for a while, you had to pay for most of the bp naval vehicles, so even if i dont play naval, i think its fair enough, also compared to the amount of new event cycle naval events (2) to the rest of ground and air vehicles, I think just because you dont play naval you shouldnt complain, i think its time for a free naval reward

I think the vast majority of players don’t mind the naval reward when there was 4 vehicles in the BP. But now when there is only 2 and it’s excluding the most popular game mode ground I think some people will not enjoy that.

It sucks for me as a console player I unlinked my account recently just to purchase vehicles I missed but I’m glad this battlepass is ass due to the fact I can play other games and not grind I only buy premium when it’s on sale half off and it helps a lot I can have fun in this game I’ve logged in for a year and two months and it wasn’t even rewarding at all I legit LEGIT got 20k for my 365 day log in lmfao and boosters actually my Xbox live reward was better than my 365 reward like dude I’m here all year for yall and this is my thanks?? Not even a random talisman or something it’s bull so I’m glad I got a ps5 and a healthier rotation of games becuz I was stuck on this game until that bs and helldivers 2 saved me

Bud, i just want to point out, that WT is F2P game, and comparison it with games from EA is stupid. First is free, second is you pay for to optane it. You dont like it? Litteraly dont buy it, its not mandatory, and if it starts to flop, gaijin will be forced to make it better.

Apex legends is free you can find majority of the EA sports games for cheap or on game pass since majority of the money comes from ultimate teams. It does not matter if a game is paid or F2P it’s even worse if it’s battlefront 2 and has an insane progression system and on top of it progression loot boxes. Sure they “fixed the game” later in BF2 life cycle game was already dead from the start. Speaking out against an issue is 100% important people have issues with grind BR compression bugs etc but the one issue that will kill this game is if warthunder just becomes a slot machine for virtual military vehicles.
