If you do I'd like some criteria for the rankings! As bg blitz is a different dynamic, like what should a match look like? How many flex players should be obj focused, who is protecting healer or flag carry etc etc I am trying to build my warband before the xpac starts! So far I have Mage, rogue, druid, and war. But I keep rotating out lock, dh, and hunter 😭

Feral is A. It's tankier than Dragonflight, by quite a lot. It can also do 3 million bites back to back. Bleed does decent too. Why are they C? They are also A or S for Blitz because of great AoE damage and the ability to stealth and take bases alone. Sure, clone spam is gone which is good. But def a low to mid A :) It also seems like a caster meta which means the only melee that usually thrive is rogue/feral and I guess DK? Good luck chasing frost mages and locks as warrior or ww monk :'( I spammed beta arenas as arms/fury and I could barely touch good mages or even locks. Like, I just wanted to uninstall and I'm a gladiator on almost melee classes. But the again, beta lag as en eu player is real...

Just ranking based on what I’ve seen on beta. Haven’t played any blitz on beta and haven’t seen one do well in arena yet. Also warriors never like mages nothing new there, but yeah the lag on beta is insane.

@@Partywaffles I'm a feral main, and I've seen many good ferals when I was trying out warrior and ww. I was always outdamaged by 2-3 times. I know I'm not THAT bad. Ferals are usually very bad players or very good. Not a in between casual class like DH that does damage no matter what you press ^^

Aug Evoker here, it’s like C tier now. The nerfs have a stealth nerf that reduced our personal damage by 13% from ebon might. Not exaggerating when I say Aug evoker does similar damage to Pres Evoker in PvP

I didn’t really have any problem with survivability on the beta. We’re much tankier and the meta is much slower paced while we can hit someone 60% of their hp if lucky crit.

Mw in blitz is a great flag carrier. It can get 4 chi torpedos in a row with jump dash inbetween each. Sprint, ring of peace, teleport.

I guess this is based on 3v3/arena only? If so, thats kinda useless, isnt it? Nobody is gonna play arena anymore in TWW when rated Blitz is there. And 8v8 in a BG setting is completly different than arena in terms of pros and cons for classes.

3v3 is still going to remain the pinnacle of wow pvp and what they balance classes around though. And while I'm definitely having a blast with Blitz in the prepatch, not everyone likes battlegrounds.

3v3 and solo arena aren’t going away because of blitz they’re completely different. Also this tier list is for all PvP not just arena. Your right though if it was just bg focused some stuff would be different, for example mw would be higher tiered. Maybe for the actual season I’ll make an entire list for just bgs.

@@JR9825 Just my 2c, if Blizz is smart they'll balance PvP around whatever game mode turns out to be most popular going forward. To put it another way, if BGB turns out to be wildly successful, then Blizz would be dumb to ignore it in terms of balance. Also, not everyone likes BGs, but not everyone likes arena either, e.g., I love BGs and dislike arena (mostly due to the intense toxicity).

@@justinmorgan7851 yea that's fair but I imagine they'd still balance around 3's as that's where you'll notice the balance issues far more. With more players in a match, one class's individual tuning matters less. I understand preferring BGs over arena but there's toxicity everywhere. Funny enough, I've experienced the most toxicity in rBGs. Especially when you're forced to join a discord and listen to everyone talk about how great they are.

Generally if no one is playing something it’s for a reason (People play fotm). Also it’s beta things are changing weekly, obviously I’m going to need to speculate some things. But it’s based on my testing qing frost/unholy to the top of the ladder on beta and what felt strong/weak that I fought. I filled in the blanks with an educated guess/asking people who play the class.

Uh does the most dps in the game, it has insane mobility and uptime, and gets ccd and dotted for 35% less duration passively. Both uh and demo should be in s tier. If tww launched right now the best 3s comp would be lock dk for sure, 0 doubt.
