You are one of the only reactors who immediately picked up on the beginning being Dany on guitar. She's playing her Fender Baritone Stratocaster here tuned down to Drop-A. Ale then comes in with the bass also tuned to Drop-A. Makes the whole song so heavy. There are no official live versions, yet. Only mobile phone fan-cams that aren't quite up to snuff. you know how when you go somewhere and see someone that brightens and enlivens your day while they are around? they are an *Automatic Sun* for you... you get pulled into their orbit and enjoy their light shining on you... DPA/TW are an/the *Automatic Sun* for TWA 😜😹 the last time DPA/TW played here was back in 2015 when they were 15, 13, and 10 years old! 🤯 this video has the studio audio over it for numerous reasons... in the beginning when Dany is talking, you can hear the bass from other bands playing their sets at the same time... another thing is those CO2 cannons are loud! there are a few other reasons, too... their song *Money* was also released with live concert footage and studio audio... that was when they opened for the Foo Fighters in front of 50000+ in the pouring rain 😜 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

They had intended to record the audio live at the festival, but there was too much other noise bleeding through from other bands on other stages, plus the pyro and smoke made a lot of noise as well. That is why they opted to use the studio audio over the live video.

Hey, I knew you were going to like this one. I suspect a good live audio will be available soon. I watched some of the fan cams that were from this show before the video was released and the pyro setup was noisy as f***. Some thought it gave them a harder time editing so they went with the studio audio. They wanted to get this out before they left for Europe and only had a week. The videography is awesome.

In an interview with Riff Magazine posted a couple days ago, Dany and Pau were asked about the song Automatic Sun. Pau responded that it's her favorite song on the new album and a lot of fun to play, and Dany agreed and said "yeah." Dany mentioned it was a Baritone Strat tuned to drop-A, and it was another fun bit of experimentation that they did on this album. So this song is a departure for them, and this album is a departure, but they're still writing catchy hooks, and the chorus in Automatic Sun is just another example.

I saw this live on fan cams prior to this and it sounded even heavier they killed it. The studio audio for this video sounds amazing and the video itself is very well done. Great reaction liked that you picked up on Dany starting and Ale coming in later most reactors miss that and say that the bass is starting the song well done. 🔥⚡

⚡I haven't been able to get this ear worm out of my head since they released this. It's played multiple times a day, every day! What an absolute Banger! She has a couple of those Fender Baritones now, and Ale uses that Spector (Inferno) tuned just for this song, both in Drop-A. Pau even has a drop tuned snare for a new song called Burnout. They are having fun experimenting with new sounds, and I'm McLoving it! Half of this new LP Keep Me Fed is already released into the wild as singles, and the other half on 6/28/24. ⚡

Dany is not playing a regular guitar, but a custom shop Fender Strat baritone guitar, with a longer neck, more space between frets, which let's her use much thicker strings, which lets her tune much lower, plus she tuned it down even further to drop A, and Ale is also switching bass to tune down to drop A. So that gives a cool much bassier tone to the whole song. Which is why even though only Dany is playing at the beginning it sounds it's a bass.

The word that I've read is that the audio from the live performance did not meet the band's standards. So, it was decided to overlay the studio version on top of the live performance. Absolute genius. This MV needs to be nominated for the MTV MVA this year. Instead of playing on the backstage, The Warning needs to be front and center.

There's two live versions out this week! The Jimmy Kimmel one came first and sounds great, but the drums are a bit subdued. The MTV Push version sounds blazing incredible, grab that one. And yes, they said Royal Blood was one of the (many) influences for the writing sessions for this album.

Aloha Justin Pierce, IMHO...the reason they released this studio audio with live concert footage is because of all the noise the Co2 and flame cannons were making throughout. You can find a couple of fan cam versions and hear what I'm talking about.

There are some fan cams with decent audio, but there is no official audio. Several factors for that. Festival, so they couldn't monopolize the soundboard. There were multiple stages with overlapping audio. The noise from those gas blasts were quite loud which would ruin any attempts at recording from stage.

QotMS is not as technically proficient in the musicianship. But oh god it has more passion than almost album ever. And some to most amazing performances at Lunario. There is a remarkably ok fan cam version of " Burnout" from the new album ( pre-new?) from Soma, Osaka. It's the only live version that is actually listenable to so far and it is way better version than the studio version.

Yea, this video should be titled “official music video”. There is no official live videos yet. “Music Madness” has video of this festival in better-than-cellphone-quality fan-cam. There is fan cams but the pyrotechnics and forgers are so loud they are not great. My theory is they were going to do live audio for it but the mics picked up the fogers, or they just wanted to promote the studio for the album release. Both reasons seam likely. I recommend checking the fan cams ect. to see that the studio version isn't different in their playingand vocals. They just are not great for a reaction videos imo.
