MY GOD! i'm 63 and i swear... few artists i saw deliver this amount of emotions in a live performance!

People wonder how/why TWA members are so loyal, this is why.
@sebrina8057Ай бұрын
100%. They give their all, every show, every song. Their connection to the music and the crowd is so special that you can't help but feel it even through a screen. I can't even imagine all the emotions she was feeling in that moment. Not feeling well, singing a song that's difficult for her because it's so intensely personal, and then the crowd props her up and sings with her and then for her at the end... it's just such a genuinely human moment they caught on camera.
@keenian6164Ай бұрын
The crowd was fantastic! They realized that she would not make it, overwhelmed by the emotion, and they finished the song for her! This is great, this is true love!! love you, Pau.. i will keep a place into my heart, forever... you're such precious girl!
@KansaSCaymanSАй бұрын
At the beginning, Pau said she was never going to perform this song live because it was so personal to her (rumored to be about the death of a friend), but felt compelled to because she was so moved by the size and enthusiasm of the audience. Love how the crowd finished the last notes for her. 🥹
@timpadgett7840Ай бұрын
That rumor is a complete falsehood. Pau explained this song is about suffering a panic attack and putting it to music. This entire "friend who died" fallacy needs to stop. Some fan speculated on a reaction and this has grown legs as bad as the Phil Collins "In the Air Tonight" rumor about that song being dedicated to some dude who let his friend drown one day as a kid. It's not true. Pau is writing about herself, not some deceased loved one. I will TWA would stop spreading this rumor.
@SDsailor7Ай бұрын
@@timpadgett7840Another rumour is that it's about a friend that drowned. So yes I agree, this needs to stop.
@solarvanlife8177Ай бұрын
Another fallacy is that Pau doesn't finish the song.
@timpadgett7840Ай бұрын
You’re right. I think that started by some pointing out the “oh ohs” that the crowd sings at the very, very end. You can tell Pau was moved at them singing that part by how she literally grabs at her chest. But some have interpreted it as Pau stopped early where as you point out she does indeed finish “playing” the song. Great call out.
@solarvanlife8177Ай бұрын
@@timpadgett7840 Yeah. You can't blame her for not getting out the last 2 "oh ohs" but her loving fans do it for her. That probably added to her break down. The actual meaning to the song hits us all differently. I know I have my own personal reaction. Pau conveys a mixture of pain, sorrow, compassion and love all at the same time. It's insane how she gets to us from so many directions. An absolute masterpiece.

It was a surprise that she sang that song because she said she would never sing it live, and she dared to do so while she was sick with her throat. It was very emotional for her and for the audience, so much so that she could not finish it, but the people still gave her a standing ovation
@elgonwilliams7624Ай бұрын
Tissues required! I think Pau called and audible here, deciding after Black Holes whether she was going to play Breathe on the spot.
@oldmanyeni1663Ай бұрын
Standing in the front of the line, we could hear her through the doors rehearsing it at soundcheck. The set list for that slot had "9- BLACK HOLES/B" Pretty sure she planning on playing it. Entirely possible that she could have pulled the plug if she didn't want to, but she chose to play it--and we are all the beneficiaries of that.

this Pepsi Center performance was the 3rd of the three 10th Anniversary concerts... they played the same performance in Guadalajara (Oct 21, 2023, Teatro Diana - 2500+), Monterrey (Oct 25, 2023, Pabellon M - 4500+), and Mexico City (Oct 28, 2023, Pepsi Center - 8000+)... all three performances had the same set list (with a notable difference or two), same costumes, same stage design and light show (or as close as possible for the venue)... they premiered both, *S!ck* and *Hell You Call A Dream* , in Guadalajara... they had the 10-piece string sections with them at all three... the lighting was done by the same guy that does Halestorm's lighting... he had some free time that matched DPA/TW's schedule so they made things happen... somewhere is a BTS showing them working on the lighting programming and controls at the office before doing it all actually setup... very cool stuff... i saw all three performances via live fan cam streams and they were ... i mean, "WOW!" doesn't even begin to describe it... i remember the surprise when the string section appeared out of nowhere for *Black Holes* and *Enter Sandman* ... and the double surprise with *S!ck* and *HYCAD* was indescribable... Pau playing *Breathe* right after *Black Holes* here in Mexico City was a monstrous surprise to everyone watching... there were a lot more than 8000 pairs of eyes overflowing from that portion of the set... i fully enjoyed seeing them and only miss not actually being there... i can't wait for their Atlanta show to get here! @doomsdaycun_lmh9341Ай бұрын
This song is a last minute addition to the album Error. Days before the album going to print Lava Records people said that they need another song, then Pau gave this jewel with two conditions: she never gonna play it live and the song have to be released at the way she give them, recording in her house out of tune piano. That´s the reason they put it as a bonus track. Acording to Pau this is the only song wrote by her that actually talks about personal experiences.

This was a huge show for them. It was in Mexico City, with a huge stage production, in front of 8,000 fans. It was also them celebrating their 10 year band anniversary, and they were sick. Nothing could stop them. As testimony to their work ethic and dedication, the show went on and not only did they deliver incredible performances of every song, the actually surpassed Teatro Metropolitan. When you get moments like this with Breathe, so raw and genuine, so much love on display, you start to understand just how powerful their connection is with their audience.

Pau had to leave the piano to go back to her kit. So the string assemble could start the intro for the next song. While the stage crew removes the piano while Dany & Ale waits in the wing to rejoin their sister on stage to perform the next song. Since returning to Europe. The sisters has dropped the next song from their setlist.

Joe, the song is very personal for Pau. She wrote the song about her friend who died. I believe the friend suicided.
@timpadgett7840Ай бұрын
PLEASE stop spreading this rumor. It's not at all true in any way, shape, or form. This is NOT about a friend of Pau's who died. This is about her own feelings of helplessness, loneliness, and depression brought on due to a panic/anxiety attack. She's explained this before, but for some reason fans want to keep pushing this false narrative about this being about a friend who is dead. IT IS NOT. Please refrain from spreading falsehoods on this because it takes away from the true meaning and personal nature of this song and what Pau intended this song to be.
