Pau reportedly wrote this after watching a documentary on the dangers of human evolution, but like many of their songs, the lyrics are open to interpretation depending on the perspective of the listener. Concur with the recommendation for the pro-recorded live performance videos from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX on their channel which are currently the next best thing to seeing them live. 👍😎

I'm putting together a TW playlist, once I saw animosity I was hooked so I went back to the very beginning cuz I'd never heard anything by them and reacted to most everything from start to finish there were a couple I left out here and there but by and large I covered their entire catalog including Dakota bar tietro Metropolitan and a couple others. I had a lot of fun doing it and I did all of it while I was in rehab which lifted my spirits a lot and I was I took a lot of it personally because a lot of it spoke to me on a personal level

I'm putting together a playlist of all the warning tracks that I've done because I did about 85% of their discography just because I'd never heard them or seen them before until I watched animosity. Absolutely love the band and I have more coming I'm just trying to get through my backlog right now but yeah keep watching there's more coming and the videos for more and evolve live at MTV are active on the channel on the live section

In my opinion, their version of Evolve from the VMA awards is the best I've seen. Definitely worth a look if you choose to come back to it. The audio and video are professionally done for on air broadcasting.

My breakthrough came from Metropolitan Teatro animosity. I had never heard of them heard them or experienced them and after that I went back to the very beginning and did blind reactions to about 80 85% of their songs from the beginning to now, I'm still catching up on some but I am still enjoying every moment of them I listen to them on my own a lot

Pau said she got blisters on her thumbs because of the gloves. All three still chuckle about still having footage on their phones. “Lots of torso shots”

I can't say I'm surprised. She absolutely killed those drums. And And Ale is absolutely a stunning on that bass! Danny just has a whole new personality, I'm absolutely loving watching them grow. I finally got the TW playlist up

This is a great video. From a production standpoint it had to be a ton of work as you point out. I prefer music videos where the band just performs or possibly there is an animated visual component. I've seen so many lame 90s videos where they try to be clever and tell a story and it completely detracts from the song. All of their official videos have a cinematic aspect that only enhance the music.
@halosandheroes11 ай бұрын
One of the earliest videos that I reflect on with that statement is the video by the Vandals My girlfriend's dead, and it's like the ultimate meta version of a music video. Guys tripping over drums each other oh it was chaos and ensuing all over the stage. This was entirely more professional, but yes when you see them on stage no no real effects added or you know anything extraneous going on other than just soundstage and production and then amazing song to go with it I'm here for it
@spaceknave11 ай бұрын
@@halosandheroes I remember the Vandals, I went back and watched that video. Some songs lend themselves to that kind of chaos more than others. Another video i’m thinking of is Black Rebel Motorcycle Club-Whatever Happened to My Rock and Roll is another shambling mess, but it’s OK. Great song. Lo-fi. ( none of this has anything to do with The Warning, just a bit of side trek.). One of those guys looked like you but it would have been 30 years ago, so impossible right?
@halosandheroes11 ай бұрын
@@spaceknave correct, I actually work security for one of their shows back in '99 and got to meet them. They were really cool same with rancid and bad religion. I think that it has a lot to do with the warning in a weird way, because the warning has actually admitted to having punk and rock influence in their music and it shows
