Ale is actually the main time keeper. Pau mentioned in her masterclass how she has trouble matching Ale. I recently saw a stat that Ale has a 99.995% note & rythm accuracy rate live.

Pau plays and sings at the same time so well because she is a freaking machine with her drum part and knows it practically subconsciously. Not to mention she has done aerobic training to help keep her voice strong despite the physical exertion of playing, She's a beast! 🤩

Hey, My Friend! After seeing them live 3 times in 2022 I can tell you that watching them play is like watching fish swim or birds fly! It's what they were born to do and they do it effortlessly! You can tell that they have practiced so much that they don't even need to think about what they are doing. They are so dedicated and passionate about giving an outstanding show to their fans! This was from one of their back to back nights at the Whiskey-a-Go-Go. They sold out the first night in a matter if minutes, not hours, and added a second night! They had 4 warmup bands all of grown men. Then they came on stage and took them all to school!

I love your reactions. This is one of my favorite songs from The Warning. They haven't played it live in a while and I hope one day they will again. It highlights a lot of what they are capable of doing musically. Finally, I so appreciate that you catch those drum parts and fills. Amazing!

This banger is from the concept album, Queen of the Murder Scene. Dany and Pau alternating the lyrics represents the battle of good and evil going on in the Queen’s head.

Thank you, Randy. It's kinda difficult for me to see reactors grab songs from the middle of QOTMS and analyze the lyrics from a perspective that has nothing to do with the story. Not that their take or interpretation is "wrong", because of the whole, everybody interprets art differently, thing, but there is an actual intended meaning to this song, which The Warning has made public.

I laugh when someone tries to question their technical abilities. They clearly don't know understand that music is more than playing fast (which they can do as good as the best). Fact is they can sit in a room with some of the most gifted technically proficient musicians in the world and either hang with them or surpass them. But they'd be 'singing' in the process!
@ronaldmorgan76322 жыл бұрын
Pau's insane fills just makes you laugh and shake your head at the same time. And the first time I saw their cover of Muse's Hysteria when Ale was still the shortest, I said out loud that some day she will be a superstar bass player. Right now I don't see anything they do that challenges her.

Double kicking on top of singing... yeah... Pau does that. There is a great acoustic version of Sinister Smiles that loses some of the song like Dany's solo and Pau is on a little electric drum pad set up but if you want to hear truly beautiful harmonies and Dany and Pau slaying the lead...you should watch it. Dany is on a beautiful Ovation, Ale on a true acoustic bass... kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpvHZWR6mbd5acU

All three of them can sing and still hold their own as instrumentalists. Pau can sing and double kick, Ale has sung lead and plays bass riffs and bass runs effortlessly and Dany her facial expressions show emotions she’s singing while playing riffs and solos controlling foot pedals without missing a beat.

Sinister Smiles: A deep and melancholic theme, very beautifully interpreted by Dany and Pau, good and evil in a permanent fight and evil almost always wins, a very good solo, excellent choruses, a great theme from The Warning from the album QOTMS

Great reaction! The crowd really gets into singing along with this song. Dany and Pau, really get into character, don't they? I also love the tone the Warning gets from their instruments. Ale has mentioned how she loves the sonic feel she gets from her Specter bass and I love the sound of Dany's Rick Toone Spearfish.

The Ladies talent for writing music, and lyrics all to their own, at such an early age, is mind blowing. Creating these the lyrics in a 2nd language on purpose, another level still. Putting it together in front of an audience, while knowing they have to entertain as well, an doing just that exceptionally well, yet another level of excellence. TWA sees it, knows it, and rejoice in it. You sir, are TWA.

In Sinister Smiles, the Queen is having a fight between her good and bad sides. It’s performed as a duet between Pau as the good side and Dany as the bad. The bad side is taunting the good with her power but the Queen is trying to be strong. She even starts to threaten suicide, probably in the tub, hence the “stain the water” lyric. This is a very feminine way to commit suicide, in the tub, maybe a bubble bath, so that the blood from slashed wrists remains in the tub and does not dirty the house. Then the evil side joins her in singing that part - so does the evil side want suicide? By the end of the song, the two warring personalities break apart.
