The piano is a backing track, originally played by Pau. She's listed in the credits on piano for tracks 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13 It's a truly amazing album, the maturity of their songwriting at this age is Mozart-level

Although all three of them know piano, Dany and Ale say that Pau is the best at it now, likely because she has kept up with the instrument as she uses it for composing their music. I'm sure that even back when this album was recorded that was the case.

Fun fact about this song: they originally recorded one of the lyrics as "that let my heart explode." When they got home their mom had misheard the lyrics and was singing to herself "that left my heart exposed." They looked at each other and said that sounded better - they went back to the studio and rerecorded the lyric the way their mom sang it.

Lunario is the first performance of QOTMS . . It was put on for the patreons and GofundMe backers . . The line . . Left my heart exposed . . . Had to be re done . . Monica the girls mom sung the line but the wrong words . . Originaly it was suposed to be "Explode" . At home after recording Mony was singing it and sang "Exposed". The girls loved it and re sung the line during final production . . 👍👋🇳🇿🍻twa

This song is from their 2nd album, Queen of the Murder Scene, a concept album released in 2018 when Ale was 13, Pau was 16, and Dany was 18. This show was on the day that the full album was released. November 24, 2018. Yesterday was the 6th anniversary. The album tells the story of a young woman’s descent into obsession, murder, and madness, exploring her internal battle between light and darkness. The One is the fourth track and the last song in Chapter 1, marking a critical turning point in the story. By this point, the protagonist’s infatuation has transformed into a dangerous fixation. No longer content to admire from afar, she is determined to "be the one" in her love interest’s life, no matter the cost. This resolve sets her on the dark and destructive path that unfolds in the rest of the album.

And they were 12, 15 and 17 when they composed the album if I am not mistaken they could have been younger because I have read that Ale came up with the riff intro to Dust to Dust when she was eleven.

And the entire album was the brainchild of Pau. She already had the lyrics of 4 or 5 songs plus some riffs. What an amazing composer that woman is. In one of the documentaries Dany said "Why is there so much blood.

Yeah, and I'd love it if they rerecorded their old covers, and released a cover album, which should include a full length version of Kickstart My Heart, and, of course, their first Enter Sandman cover, I am very curious how those covers would sound now, with a lot more time, practice and experience under their belts.

The band's Magnus Opus, released in 2018 when they were 18-16-13. They were so far ahead of the curve at this point that you'll struggle finding a group of similar-aged "kids" who can even play this well, much less compose, arrange and produce such as astounding piece of work. It wasn't long after this that Ale became the youngest Spector Bass Artist, and If you go to their website and click on "Artists" the first thing you see at the top of the page is 14yo Ale rocking out at their January 2019 appearance at the Whisky (2 months after Lunario).

They themselves consider this to be one of their most underrated songs by their fandom, along with The Sacrifice. I'd like to hear them both again sometime, because obviously the voice of the 18 year old Dany and the one of today have nothing to do with each other. Maybe someday... PS: the intro is one of the most beautiful things in their whole repertoire.

All the QOTMS songs from LUNARIO CDMX concert are best if done in concert chronology, since they're part of a concept album saga, thus, the songs will have a better lyrical context impact; as pertaining to the story. (Just something to consider.) The story is a masterpiece and following it in order is must, imho. Either way - all the songs on their own - separate from the story are frickin awesome too. 👊⚡️🤘

It's funny that you mention Ale's bass sound. This approach to mixing music is very characteristic of Hispanic culture; in Latin music, the bass is brought to the forefront, even in rock. One of my pet peeves with many rock bands from the U.S. is that the bass often gets buried in the mix, treated like a secondary instrument instead of being highlighted where it belongs. Thanks for pointing that out!

I don't see how this is simple. Oh, it has a simpler sound, lack of layering and such. When you look at it though; between the cord changes, syncopated bass line, song structure changes, and the piano overlay, it's still not easy, and certainly not something you'd expect to hear from teens. 🤘⚡️
