What a performance. This one has brought at least one reactor to tears, he had to stop and regain his composure. It's a common effect with these ladies when you see the intensity and passion they put into every beat. There are even a couple compilations: The Warning: Making Reactors Cry. This is a good video to point out why they are not merely talented kids. This is in their blood, you can feel it.

They were 16, 14, and 11 in this video. Shot in the mountains in the Monterrey, Mexico region. They have also covered Everlong. That was at their school, Liceo de Monterrey.

To experience these sisters as kids before you know and see how amazing they are now is unreplaceable. See as much of their older videos as possible BEFORE you get to familiar with the grown up versions. It will be an experience you can not replicate. Man, your constant smile said it all. Young Villarreal sisters are Lightning in a Bottle!

The legend says that this video was done in three shoots, and the sountrack is the first one. The landscape is next to their hometown in Monterrey. The mountains at rear surrounds the city.

They needed additional two runs to make all the additional shoots of Pau, Ale, the foot etc. I think that this is done with one camera. Two at most.

The video was posted Jan 26, 2016 and the video description says their ages were 15, 13 and 11 so it was recorded sometime after Ale's bday (Dec 13) but before Dany's bday (Jan 30) or Pau's bday (Feb 5). IIRC the scene was shot in the foothills above their home, on a cleared lot that would soon have a house erected on it. The video director is the same guy would go on to direct their award winning music video for XXI Century Blood, Abraham Marcos.

My gut feeling is you are right about the place. I used to live in Southern California and I've seen many lots prepared for house construction in similar settings, just over a canyon. If the camera looked the other way, we would see a street.
@LesDexia135 күн бұрын
@@arctic_haze Their home town is San Pedro Garza Garcia, a suburb in SW Monterrey that is nestled between some foothills and an isolated ridge. The video was shot in November and the sun is to their back so they are looking north, probably from those foothills.

@LesDexia13 I used Street View. It is even more similar to some rich parts of San Diego than I thought possible (the houses are a little closer to each other). I can see a street or two where you just need one house missing to create the beautiful spot for recording the video.
@LesDexia135 күн бұрын
@@arctic_haze Also have to remember the video was shot 9 (nine!!) years ago so there were fewer homes in the area and the trees were shorter. BTW this video was my first exposure to the band, in late summer 2016.

I've said this at least a hundred times: Dany's ability to play lead'ish material, while singing, is otherworldly. It is every bit as difficult as playing the drums and singing. Try it, if you don't think so. Almost nobody out there does it. Dany is a BEAST!
@KansaSCaymanS Жыл бұрын
When they were younger, Dany had more of an accent than her sisters. Now, they all speak English like any American Gen Z’er, and are more articulate than most. This is also one of my favorite covers by them. 👍😎

Great video! Sad I missed the live stream (weekend yardwork = bummer). The Warning is insanely passionate and, as you know, their talent is off the charts. There are literally no bad songs in their extensive portfolio. Thanks! I'll try to catch a stream, soon!

I say and this is just my opinion Dany is such a great guitar player because of Tons of Practice and her fingers are Dubble Jointed she can do weird things with her fingers, like she was telling a story of how when they were touring last year with Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless, and Lilith Czar that one day all the Guitarist were all talking about what they could do with there fingers and How flexible they are and Dany show them her Fingers, Dany can Bend her Thumbs and put them in back of her Hands it looks weird then with her other 4 Fingers she crawl like a spiders she freaked everyone out and they started calling her shrimp fingers.

Great reaction Walter! Go to the 9 minute timestamp in The Warning's 1st Ted ex talk from February 26th, 2016 to hear The Pretender performed LIVE when they were 15, 13, and 10 years old in front of an audience with high quality pro-shot audio/video recording. My comment won't stick if I post the link. The Warning also covered FF's EVERLONG at the same concert you did their cover of Ozzy's CRAZY TRAIN; at their school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. 🤘🤓🍿

I just love this version, they did an amazing job on this song, a 3 piece doing the work of a 5 piece adult band and pulling it off so well. Truth be told I like this more than the original, although the original is great too, and I might be somewhat biased when it comes to The Warning.

Great reaction! This performance is amazing, isn't it? These three girls can fight more foo than six grown Foo Fighters! I'm gonna subscribe, but first I'm gonna see what The Warning you've taken a look at. I'll be right back... Okay, I'm back. It looks like you need something from @ Dakota Bar, let's say "Exterminated" and, for something different, "Black Holes". Then, something more from Teatro Metropolitan, last August. Let's try "DISCIPLE". And, let's go with "Shattered Heart" from the Whisky A Go Go. (I was there!) And if you want to go way way back, the first song they ever played in front of an audience as The Warning, a Muse cover, "Hysteria", December 2013, when Ale had just turned 9! The _exact_ video title is 'Hysteria - Muse Cover - The Warning', not to be confused with later versions or an earlier practice session. (I try to avoid links in here, because sometimes my comments get eaten.) It's from over nine years ago! Umm...Okay, subscribed! Thank you for reacting to The Warning!!

The Warning are really cool but your face while watching them is priceless. 😊 I want to ask you to make a reaction to The Greatest Show on Earth, but to the fan video of it with the dinosaurs and Earths formation because all reactional videos in youtube are from the concert, which is also great but somehow misses the effect from the video clip. Please! :) ❤ In addition I want to be very pretencious and ask you to see the full video without pausing it. I know it is a lot to ask, but I hope you will understand why in the end. 😊❤

Here's a new one for you to check out. Halestorm - "Love Bites (So Do I)" captured in The Live Room. If you allow links here is the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l6jdYYScbNqDidk Not a family band like The Warning or Liliac, but Halestorm's Arejay Hale on drums is Lzzy Hale's brother. Awesome rock/Metal band.
