Jen, When The Warning start touring again you Have to go she them and there's a Good Chance you'll get to meet them and have your Pictures taken with them because they have Meet and Greets at every Show after the show or sometimes before the show. Jen when you Meet them you'll see how Nice and Down to Earth they Are, I bought a Poster when I saw them and they Autographed it, when I got back home to Texas the first thing I did was buy a Frame for it and it's hanging in my Bedroom.

I agree with your sentiments completely. I have come across things daily that earn a thumbs up. There are even things on occasion that warrant a thumbs down (although not that many). However! Talent such as this deserves more than a like, which is why I joined their Patreon the instant I knew it existed. I am proud to say I support these musicians financially. The world needs art and to be filled with beauty. How else will that happen, besides us throwing support at the truly talented. These ladies are the standard by which new young acts shall be measured.

Best three shows I've seen. I think you will agree. On the subject of going wherever you have to to see them, many of us in TWA have flown across the US, and from all over the world to see them perform. I flew from Connecticut to California to see them at the Whisky in 2019, and would do it again (once my wife gets over it) in a heart beat! I'll be 53 in June, and have seen many, if not most, of the "great" bands from the 70's to the early 90's, when there suddenly were no more truly great bands (my opinion), and The Warning in concert have caused the memories of those other shows to fade into the ether. No show compares to The Warning. Do whatever you have to to get to a show. It is truly a life-changing experience. I am a patron of their's also.

I think apart from being insanely talented (passionate, self-disciplined and well practiced,) their appeal stems from the fact that they play like "dudes." Not a sexist comment - allow me to explain. What I mean is that female rockers in the past did play, like Joan Jet, and Heart, but often the lead guitarist would be a man. Some all female groups had very limited success, due mostly to a sexist, male dominated industry. The genre that was conquered by female artist was pop, and most of the artist didn't play instruments, and a lot of their success was due in part to oversexualized music videos. Hard Rock and Metal is historically dominated by men. The girls in this band say the same thing. They said that what made them realize that rock is male-dominated is that everyone they have to work with, in production and stage are all men. Industry leaders that approached them were men and immediately demanded them to change, "For all the wrong reasons," Dany said at Tedx. These ladies are different, in that they each own their skills on the instruments. Dany is an aggressive lead guitarist! We are not accustomed to seeing that from women rockers! It's new, it's fresh, it's unique! They play tough, even when they were just little girls! That's FRESH! That's new! It's interesting! They are from this post-millennial generation but they're throwing it down old school! Their music and performances has caught the attention of balding, middle aged age men who used to be metal-heads! That's cash-flow from a lot of disposal income, haha, but I digress. What's also fresh and appealing, is that from the get-go they dress in age-appropriate clothing! Nothing about their wardrobe is sexualizing them. They don't have skanky dance crews on set! Their clothing is changing as they grow (all age-appropriate) and even though the clothing is more metal, it's all modest. It's innocently attractive. They don't need to show off their bodies to sell their art. All of this together, and tough, goth lyrics, from sweet looking, innocent youngsters is like a sweet and savory dish, and that's always appetizing. I think also, most of us in the US would never expect this caliber of ROCK to come from Mexico! Is it Mexico's time to shine, or is it just The Warning's time to shine? We'll see the influence these brilliant prodigies inspire in the youth culture of Mexico. Thanks for reading if you read, Thanks for your reactions, I enjoy them.
