Dany is one of the best vocalists I have ever heard. She crushes it live, every single show. Great reaction, thanks very much. ❤✌🤘⚡🔥

Dany just gets better and better. Pau rockin sunglasses indoors and chillin. Ale showing her jazz roots.

Absolute perfection, I can't think or a thing I'd change in this performance. I'd love to see Alanis's reaction to this.

Dany sings the song like this happened to her and they perform the song like they wrote it. I get chills every time. And Dany is playing for 2 guitars while singing lead. Spectacular rendition. It's talent by all 3 of them.

I'm a great fan of Alanis.... but objectively they have a better interpretation, the song has augmented its 'catchyness'.... really they surpassed the author! i'm starting to have the impression that everything they touch, turns into gold!

I get the sense that this was easy for Pau to play, so she was able to just kind of relax and groove along. Dany and Ale are putting in some serious work here, though. And they still make it look easy. Dany’s vocals keep getting more impressive. I think she can sing anything right now.

I totally agree with you. Add to it that Dany's handling Dave Navarro's guitar work while killing the vocals. Ale crushes Flea's bassline and Pau's brush work, all amazing! Keep on rocking and you've been warned!

thanks for sharing montrose ... what a cover, and you are correct, AM is not easy to cover, especially this song, the warning spin works, i love what ale did with the bassline, brilliant, and danys control of the guitar, wow ... namaste from canada ... r0ck 0n ... twa ... \m/

Speaking of the first line of vocals, it was mentioned on another reaction I watched today that The Warning started the song with vocals (I think it was Choke). For fun I went back and looked at how many of their 58 originals start with vocals, either alone or within a couple of beats. The total was 20! Out of 58.

Great Reaction... I had this on repeat for quite a while after it came out. Dany's Vocals are So, So, incredible. Wow oh WOW... Ali's Bass lines are flawless as well. Pau just makes any piece of Drum work incredible that she does. I like to call it, Pau-da-modium. Set on Relaxation setting. Ok I tried...

Alright Mr @RockMusic1959 I watched it. I agree with him and he makes some great points about the effectiveness of them matching the style of the original song but still do it their way. Great video and great comment.

Pau covering Taylor Hawkins. Ale covering Flea. Dany covering Dave Navarro. There is a lot of talent there. While I apprecaited the cultural impact the original had, I never really was a huge Alanis fan. Her voice came across as very whiny to me. Dany's version to me is much more demanding and defiant in this version. Others may not agree, but that is what I hear. I love Pau's brush work and Ale's tasteful bass line in the second verse. I think these two could be the anchor for just about any genre of music.

So you stopped your comments just as Dany went into some of the loveliest vocalizations I have heard from her, over top of the simple chording. It is, for me, the highlight of this cover. They also did this on the French show Taratata, but it is probably cleaner here. BTW the whole Sirius show is well worth a listen, featuring songs from Keep Me Fed.

Alanis performed this live on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2024 a couple nights ago with Renee Rapp sharing the vocals. I watched it a couple times and it was a great rendition, with a few lyrics censored for TV. 🙂 I know I'm biased, but honestly, this version by The Warning was much cleaner and more exciting. Alanis and Renee were both great vocally, as was Dany. It's Alanis's song so I'm not going to say Dany does it better, but... I would definitely say The Warning's musical arrangement was superior. Alanis's drummer on TV didn't use brushes like the original record, so he missed that subtlety, and the bass player on TV didn't stand out nearly as much as Ale's popping bass. This SiriusXM version is incredible playing and showcases The Warning's versatility.
