I wear the Seiko SNK805 every day. It costs less than $100 and is also astonishingly accurate. You seem to have restored its grandfather. Hats off to the Seiko engineers for this piece of technical wonder, and to you for documenting this marvellous restoration.

Collin from Spain. You have really done yourself proud. You are the most authentic watch guy on KZbin. I have been following for years, through all your ups and downs. Of course I would be ecstatic winning a piece of your handicraft, and I am sure that there are others more deserving out there. Whoever wins it is one very Lucky person and I am sure They Will appreciate it just as much as I would. Thanks for all your videos and enthusiasm which spills over to watch fanatics all over the world. You are the best. Wishing you the best of Health, and your daughter can be very proud of having such a nice Dad. Merry Christmas to you and your family !

What an incredible journey. You turned someone’s trash into an absolute jewel - and that in a way, so all of us, on the other side of the camera can follow and be inspired, to take on a similar project (even though I might start with something smaller). I would be deeply honoured to wear this piece, with such a great history. Again- Thank you very much. Keep up your good work.

From what you started with, that is a fantastic restoration. There are purists our there that would have left it original but that poor beater needed the full treatment. Thanks for letting us come along for the ride.

Hey thank you for the opportunity to win this watch, and thanks for a great series showing the journey. This is exactly what I love about vintage watches. You can find something that is rough and unloved, likely been sat in a drawer for years. And with a lot of care an attention, you can give it a new life. For me that’s what watches are about, and I’m happy that this series has captured this. Thank you for your time- Lawson

Well I must say the last 3 months and 10 videos hasn't been in vain👍 The completed timepiece is amazing....the rally style strap really compliments the dial. You inspire myself and many others I suspect to restore watches that most people would ordinarily discard. Good luck one and all🤞

David Smith thanks David. I could probably do all the work in 4 hours or so on this one . You saw most of the work “ live” as I did it. So other than a few off camera bits and then a ton of editing the timescale is about right

I have loved watching your videos and have seen the entire restoration videos. You have done miracles with this Seiko watch from what you started with. I know your not 100% thrilled with the way this watched turned out, but from what you started with I am amazed how well it turned out. You brought it back to 98% of what it was when new. I for one would like to see more vintage pocket watches as that is what I mainly restore. I love older Seiko wrist watches and that is all I wear when I wear a wrist watch. I don't usually try to repair wrist watches because they are so small and I don't trust myself yet with these tiny parts. I wish everyone good luck to win this watch and if I win would be proud to wear it.
