I read he wasn't impressed with Britney's performance hence why he chose to have another girl for the 2nd concert (there were two 30th anniversary concerts). You can tell she was aimlessly walking through most of it and Michael even made some gestures to direct her. Maybe Britney couldn't make it to a rehearsal. But I'm sure he still admired her very much and didn't let that performance change his view of her. They both admired each other very much and Britney still does to this day.

By the way, the two 30th anniversary concerts were on September 7 2001 and September 10 2001. That's the day before the infamous 9/11 attacks on the world trade center... I wouldn't call it a fun fact but just an interesting fact. A lot of people from around the world went to see this concert in NYC, some of them first timers in the USA, and woke up to the attacks the next morning... chilling. It's also been said that MJ had an appointment in the world trade center but missed it because he was on the phone all night.

This is my least favorite performance of MJ ever. Why do people ask for this?? Plus Britney did so bad mj didn’t want her the next night. She doesn’t walk even when mjs showing her on stage to walk and at one point she hits mjs arm down. Disaster

Britney was only booked for that night, she had a busy schedule. Plus, it never really aired on TV because Britney had a deal with HBO that year and ABC couldn't use her footage, that's why MJ performed the next night by himself. Also, through all his life he only had nice things to say about Britney, specially AFTER their performance (which she agreed to do because MJ called her himself) so I don't know where you're taking this from.
