The first arc is a long one and it can feel suffocating but I think the way it feeds you the story is so very worth it

Honestly there's no fiction doing the fiction game better than shadow slave,when you read fiction what do you want from it?Escapism,a world that does not exist,something creative and mind boggling and that's what shadow slave is,a purely creative world,something to explore,something you have never heard of before,of course that's just one of the reasons to read it,as a fiction,it nails what it means to be fiction

To be honest SS is one of the best read it's my second favourite after LOTM and I think the plot twist you are talking about is Sunny's innate ability Shadow Bond that if anybody said his true name all out he becomes a Slave so don't worry about the slave aspect as someone who has read up to it 900 chapter that slave part is not a hindrance but a plot for Sunny to join Antarctic war believe me just read it

​@@maxwellrak Well, his Flaw "Clear Conscience" is pretty well done honestly its one of the better aspects of the story lol. He spouts so much bullshit that is actually true and people genuinely dont believe him. Trust it's definitely not an issue

You should really read Rebuild world, it's on Lightnovel World. It's sci-fi/post apocalyptic novel about the journey of Akira trying to complete a purpose of a higher being. It also has a manga if you wanna start by reading that. The art is very beautiful btw.

As someone who’s caught all the way up, it will be great. Best introduction I’ve ever seen from a webnovel and it’s a perfect choice for a manhwa adaption with how it progresses. And despite how good people rate Forgotten Shore, it’s not the best arc imo, especially in terms of development and world building. G3 is cooking with the latest arc, can’t wait to see how it plays out.
