Translation for 4:54 is: "Whilst never having listened to a Rush song in my life, regardless, I am feigning polite interest for the good of my channel and passing along this new product line for your consideration." Given the name of your channel, you should give a listen to the Rush song, Subdivisions, which was written in tribute to "geeks," and the place where they are identified and suffer the most, which is high school. Here is an excerpt: "Subdivisions, in the high school halls, In the shopping malls, Conform or be cast out, Subdivisions, in the basement bars, In the backs of cars, Be cool or be cast out," Please change the anger to mutual happiness by providing a reply❤🇨🇦

Yeah…the current stewards of the Marshall brand don’t know what to do with it. Lexrst, by the way, is Alex’s nickname. And these aren’t the first Lexrst branded amps. Although as far as I know he stuck with his Hughes & Kettner’s in concert ever since he first started working with them. My pick of the week is the IR-2. And it doesn’t only emulate classic amps! It has Boss’ MDP amp models that are the only case I know of where a maker of digital amp models is asking what a digital model can do beyond simply emulating an analog amp.
@mhoop1 Жыл бұрын
BEST VIDEO OF THE WEEK TIME!!!! EDIT: HB/Thomann shipping to the US is now way too expensive; it removes the 'discount' aspect and that makes me sad. I wanted to use them for some Christmas gifts but it wasn't practical with $85 (roughly) shipping. I suppose if you were getting 3-4 guitars it wouldn't be an issue but 1 guitar and a ton of clearance parts and such, it just isn't worth it. And I know they don't set the shipping costs and don't eat those costs but it would be nice to have a less expensive option. I would call it 'chee' or 'key' but not 'kai/kye' "new old stock"....ugh IR-2 is really cool; I think it's keen. But, I already have a Mustang Micro ~and~ a Boss Katana 50 (1st edition) and use 3rd party software on it along with the Boss 'software' (man it got hard to use after Silverlight went away, thank goodness I work in IT and can 'do' things...). I don't play out so it'd just be a toy, and that's kind of expensive for a toy.

@Haroun-El-Poussah Жыл бұрын
Why trying to sound the same while you might sound better... And without spending that big! Go for racked gear from the 90's, it's awesome and it sells for peanuts! I purchased a lot of such stuff, everyting second hand, my fav'd combination is the Triaxis preamp (€850) with the Marshall EL84-20/20 (€200) and a pair of Electrovoice EVM12L (€90 each, thus their price seems to have sky-rocketed in recent years, but there are WGS copies), I bought Baltic-birch plywood, 18mm thick, 13 plies and built TL806 cabs from the EV plans, thus, since Harley Benton now sells empty Thiele cabs... Used it with just a Lexicon MPX-G2 and a few stompboxes in a Pink Floyd cover band, with a Vigier Excalibur Supra-SSS instead of a Strat, everyone jawdropped to the way I sounded, I was even approached for Fender endorsement but since they have nothing rivalling the Excalibur, I wasn't interested

@Tiptronics Жыл бұрын
@@basiltiffani8850 tubes don’t “really” sound like anything - it’s like saying something sounds like resistors, it’s a component. For example you can process sounds in a computer profiler to sound like a tube amp - didn’t need tubes to sound like that! You could say that valve amps are typically “analog” and react more dynamically/naturally HOWEVER - when distortion is applied it makes very little difference. You can have a “digital” sounding drive pedal run through tubes. So he can still sound digital without the pre/power valves really impacting the tone
