The "I almost cut a piece of myself" line is literal. Selena Gomez needed a Kidney or Liver or something and he considered being organ donor for her or something like that.

I've heard The Weeknd's name but never heard his music. And that's a damn shame, because MAN, can he sing! I think what he's saying has a universality to it as well, because most everyone has gone through something like this before, whether they would be able to express it or not. Needless to say, thanks to George and Ryan, I will be checking out more of The Weeknd's material. #freethinkers I'd like to hear you react to Lingus by Snarky Puppy. I'm like 97.347% sure you'll really dig it.

Stuart Taft try listening to the Trilogy album which is a compilation of his three mixtapes, which are widely regarded as his best work. Its grimier and rawer than his radio hits (not to take away from his hits, they're great in a different way)

What I love the most about you two is that it's obvious you adore music. You appreciate tiny details in songs that most people don't notice or think much of. When you spoke on the distortion on his voice near the middle, Ryan, it was so cool. Literally like 3 seconds of the song, and yet I think you hit the nail on the head by saying while it sounds cool, it also fits with the context of the lyrics, right? He feels he isn't being heard, his perception of things has become distorted. Really cool to pick up on these little things that make songs that bit cooler!

Hey guys. Love ya both! It's the weekend. I totaled my car last weekend (Sunday April 8th) on an icy bridge. No control whatsoever. Spun and bounced off of the concrete walls like a pinball in a pinball machine. Said my prayers, asked forgiveness of all sins and was accepting what I thought was about to happen. Friday night when neighbors struggled to get their truck bed closed and slammed it 3 times each time harder I went into a PTSD episode. Was so scary and freaky. I wasn't in my living room watching Master Chef Junior anymore. I was in my car on the bridge again and couldn't even see my living room. I say all of this to ask for prayers and if you don't pray please send good vibes through the universe to me. I'd appreciate it so much. Keep up the good work. Love ya guys so much!
