You know what, the best review for this light out there. I'm considering getting some small LED light (and maybe even some slightly bigger ones as my key light as right now I use a normal Bluetooth bulb in a Chinese lantern) or a Tube light and not sure which one to get. I'd want something for travelling as well so that I could set something up even in random places, basically minimalist kit... (That's why I'm resisting some huge dome lights and soft-boxes as they take lots of space and are not portable). Just sharing, if you have some thoughts, would be great to hear :).

I agree soft-light will cost at the expense of size of your setup. Something like this could be a source but will definitely be in frame. Maybe a panel led of some type as your main but without any diffusion it won’t be soft clean light.
