Also this book reminds me of that SNL sketch with John Mulaney where he's the showrunner on a show where the dad and the son switch places but it only explores the amorous implications of that switch. The Cruel Prince is like that - it's a fantasy book but instead of world building it basically solely discusses what it would be like to puck Puck.

I owe y'all an apology - I was so confused listening to this and I was like "I think the sounds too quiet they need to turn the sound up on their mics". And yeah you probably could benefit from turning the sound up on your mics but I was actually confused because this book makes not a lick of sense.

I feel like the concept of the book was okay, but a lot of the plot and character dynamics (especially the relationship between cardan and jude) seemed all over the place, and didn't even make sense realistically
