As a a,I’d this scene always chilled me, still does. I’ve been on the London tube many times and I walkways think of this scene when I’ve been there. The mix of horror and comedy always attracted me to this film. It’s a classic.

03:26 that was common in the 80s public clocks at train stations, in towns, bus stations or whatever giving the wrong time. It's night time and it say 13:01pm a common occurrence back then, they would be left wrong for ages as staff and Councils couldn't be arsed to fix them.
