If you appreciate mountains this much then you’ll appreciate Yosemite for sure. The peaks that the glaciers carved the peaceful flowering meadow in Yosemite valley and of course the majestic waterfalls. The dinning at the lodge is wonderful. I still salivate over the buffet and the blueberry blintzes for dessert mmmh delicious. Much to see there also. The pine scented air and the whispering aspens. Not to mention the wildlife. Well Yosemite has always been my favorite.

Loved this video. It brought back so many memories of my trip there in November. I went around Vegas on the west to Red Rocks Canyon, which is beautiful and avoided driving through Las Vegas. Stayed at Boukder Beach campground. It is so pretty and really is only $10 a night with the park pass. It still has water & elec., a dump station and great bathrooms. I hiked the railroad trail and took the tour of the inside of Hoover Dam. Very educational. Also took the paddle boat from the marina to the bottom of the dam. I love the campground so much, I stayed 5 days, went to boondock outside Valley of Fire 6 days at Poverty Flats while driving in to hike VoF, then went back to Boulder Beach again for another 5 days. One of my favorite areas. The best way to see VoF and hike the trails is to leave the trailer parked at your campground and just take the car. I learned about a great boondocking spot out on a messa surrounded by mountains that Paul of The Motorhome Experiment revealed. There were other nice campers there so I felt my trailer was safe. Just pull up Poverty Flats contour Google map.
@TravelingRobert5 жыл бұрын
I'm going back to see how it is in the summer. I'm going check out Poverty Flats, although with the extreme heat I guess boondocking would not be recommended

There's a huge arcade in the basement of the Excalibur. Excalibur and Circus Circus are 2 of the more "family friendly" hotels. I took 2 young teen girls to Vegas several times and they loved it. They loved that arcade in the Excalibur. Another hotel I recommend if you have kids is The Orleans. The Orleans has a daycare center and they will babysit them for a fee. They have video games, movies, and tubes to crawl through, etc. for their amusement. My daughter loved it, she thought she would hate it but she asked to go back every night. Just remember to bring their shot records. You will need them. Then on the same floor as the daycare center is an arcade and a movie theater.

On Friday picked up my Gran Design Imagine XLS 19RLE and camped in it near by. You’re production and video skills are the best on You Tube as you work to choreograph your music to the story. If you don’t have fitting music then you create it. I hope to meet you one day to personally say thanks.
