You should listen to HC Verma talk on Valmiki. It is there on KZbin. Calculus originated in India. Madhava of Kerala used the concept of limits to sum an infinite series and hence was one of the pioneer of the calculus. Aryabhatt used finite difference in 4th centuary so he was a pioneer of numerical analysis.

@@thepooaprinciple5144 I doubt that. Seeing so many galaxies it is very likely that there are many more plannets like Earth, even more advanced civilisations. We have found more than 50 Earth like plannets just in our local neighbourhood. In fact, I do not understand why are you making this comment here. Yes, I consider Earth as my mother. In ancient India and so is your Gaia (mother Gaia) we always addressed Earth as our mother. But that does not mean there is no other plannet that has trees. Mother of that tree is that plannet. In Bhakti tradition, we say mother Kali is entire Cosmos. Or in Advaita tradition we say Aham Brahmasmi.

As a Conservative American, I’ve been yelling from the hills for a need for the US and India to find common cause in as many things as possible! I see many of the same values and two nations that can greatly benefit from trade and security alliances!
@siddhant...
@siddhant... 2 ай бұрын
I feel the same as an Indian. We definitely saw great chemistry between modi and trump. But the problem with the true American conservative is that they do think Hinduism is wicked, it's a satanic religion. Two examples I saw was a guy accusing Vivek ramaswamy of hiding his religious identity and that Hinduism is evil for some reason. Also in one of his shows Michael knowles, called yoga a satanic practice. It's honestly baffling and ridiculous how many values conservatives and Indians align on, yet the racism in conservative Americans for Indians leads to a strain. Causing many Indian Americans to become staunch liberals even though their value systems don't align at all.
@MS-wz9jm
@MS-wz9jm Ай бұрын
India needs to be extremely careful about the US. The US's strategic goal with India is to use it in confronting China. Its not in India's interest at all. Modi is a strong leader and has been good at resisting getting into bed with the yanks but the US intelligence assets will be hard at work trying to get a weaker leader elected in India who will then do what the US wants.

Besides Eric being an amazing polymath, this is a great podcast to explain why outsiders have such a deeper/better explanation of native concepts than Indians who are solely entrenched in its roots and haven't built a comparative framework. The key thing Indians need to do for recognition is to actually have a uniquely original take on things (science, religion, business, technology, etc) instead of just trying to work on the image management layer. Good job on holding a chat in an open manner here as well Prakhar. Cheers.
