​​@@localhobo5362 sucks they could have won the HLE game of the 1v2 caps was pulling vs Doran and Viper, but their Rell failed hex flash over a wall and yike missed his e over wall so he couldn't ult or they maybe could have killed the adc and top and maybe forced end in a 5v3. On the flip side, I think I prefer them playing more games. They need to fix problems, like the early game they had vs HLE, and they did have a better game today. I think it'll be better for them if they play more games/series than qualify early.

See G2 is a team that wins through mid game and macro, a thing GenG does best, so it is like they are facing a better version of themselves. Even in this game G2 got a 3k gold lead and did a few fumbles, yes they had control most of the game but a team like GenG will not let you get away with it. G2 needs to have 3 early games like this AND outmacro GenG and outteamfight them. Not saying it is impossible, but G2's best chance to win worlds is to have someone else eliminate GenG before they face them.

DK is beatable, LNG made them look silly and I think G2 is better than Fly, so if G2 draws Fly or DK they have a good shot at advancing. The good news is they get a pass from playing HLE.

Sure it was overchase into a choke vs a rumble but still the combo is insane orianna noct is a disgusting combo follow that with a galio on top and rell kalista means enemy has almost no chance. The first engage is the nocturne ult, so having it but not using it forced WBG to play back and g2 got everything in the early game - 3 grubs and 3 turrets.

Or j4 or noc how they decide dont change the fact that j4 was the weakest pick to let him open. Yasuo was probably banned for the windwall that just cancels the ehole comp of rumble jhin in the First Rotation. Vi fits similar to nocturne just that vi get immediate cc followed by galio ori. Whereas nocturne disturb vision just to get a flash or cleanse. So vi was a good ban here.

I dont agree with your sentiments on yasuo; the windwall is situationally powerful but trist jump and rumble ult dont really care about it, and jhins ult lasts longer than windwall does; so thats not especially a "thing" out side of some heroic saves. Plus being over indexed into AD and lack of range gives strongggg efficacy towards rumble jhin maokai.
