I’ve never seen Johan so animated! I guess I would be excited as well seeing one of the most majestic inhabitants of our planet up close like that. Malin is such a great narrator. I find her voice very calming and serene.

You two are the real deal, no gimmicks, no pix of women in bikini to attract views, no artificial drama....just two lovely people sailing around the world and sharing their adventures and experiences with others through high quality videos. Thanks so much for being the type of people the rest of us respect and would like to be friends with.

I'm used to Johan being laid-back and when he excitedly yelled, it startled the heck out of me! From the looks of that splash, that whale had to be a large one. You sure captured those large swells at the end. This was another enjoyable video adventure....thank you both!!

Johan, as someone who has had 7 molars extracted to date, drinking before was not a good idea re: blood clotting and pain. However, my last 2, which I paid in cash (no dental insurance), I was charged $165 for each molar... and I'm in Chicago. I tried someone new in my neighborhood, Polish middle-aged female dentist, all state of the art equipment. I was given a mask, similar to a welders mask, tinted in red... which helps w/ visuals/splattering. But, both times I was told to use cooled tea bags ... hold them in place as you gently bite down... it helps w/ healing/clotting. Other than that, she said reg. pain meds and just rest if you can w/ a dark towel on your pillow. Not looking forward to the rest, as I need false teeth (don't want implants). Hope this helps and you heal fast.

They truly are magical animals.

Fantastic! I lived in Santa Cruz back in 1982 and spent a lot of time at the boardwalk. I volunteered at the soup kitchen that was across the street from that old train bridge (and spent a few nights sleeping on the beach near it). I lived about a mile north of it one block off the beach. It is great to see how much the boardwalk has grown and brought back beautiful memories of fishing off the pier. Thanks for the memories and great video!

Did the amusement park remind you of Gröna Lund? Glad you were able to take care of your achy tooth Johan and yes $2000 for an extraction is a lot, but also glad the insurance covered some of the cost. The seal must have been checking your hull out for buildup. Johan's excitement seeing the whale is great! Memories for a lifetime. Malin hope you are feeling much better and get to enjoy more of what our west coast has to offer.
